Appearance : Anna appears to be in her late teens. Most of the time she prefers to wear baggy clothes, trousers and long sleeved shirts specifically. She may resemble a young male, if one doesn't pay close attention. Her red curls, that usually lose their shape to the waves at sea, surrounds her slightly tanned face. Anna keeps her head down and eyes lowered due to shyness. When she smiles wide she reveals a single dimple on her left cheek. She has a pirate brand and a small tattoo of the ship she grew up on each shoulder.
Personality : Anna is very shy and timid. She tends to be quiet when there is a big crowd around her and she gets uneasy quickly. Her naivety may come across as of being gullible. Anna is not stupid, she just uses a rather childish filter in her head before making a judgement. Definitely not fond of physical acts - such as hugging unless she feels secure and safe. Anna is a daydreamer with a generous nature.
Background : Being the subject of a trade as a toddler, she doesn't have much remembrance of a land life prior to living in Cove. What was told to her as she grew up on the pirate ship, was that she was traded in for a bit of nightshade by her father, which may or may not be the truth, it is unknown at this time.
She was thought to be male until she started to develop, up until that time being just Jones she was demoted to being Anna Jones; the deck swab. Despite the majority of the crew wanting to dump her into the sea, courtesy of the common belief that having women on board a ship being bad luck; the Captain, known as Red Jack, didn't have the heart to kill her nor drop her off at the first shore, as she knew way too much of their trades.
With her current situation in mind, First Mate of the ship Jamal, an ex-slavetrader from N'ujelm, took her under his wings to protect her from the harmfull ways of the crew. She was taught how to read, write, copy maps and pick locks. Jamal's tutoring caused a feud between Anna and Andrew, whom she thought was her brother, but the misunderstanding was quickly cleared. One night Andrew, who was yearning for land, killed the captain and took control over the ship. Anna was dropped off on land between Vesper and Cove to her "freedom". She was wandering aimlessly around the outskirts of Cove, when she was found by Mischief and Captain Hoagie. She was given shelter, food and clean clothes. Ever since then she has been trying to make a living in Cove.
She draws maps and sells them for a living. And often comes across travellers who are willing to exchange their old maps that often turns out to be old, forgotten treasure maps, with her freshly drawn ones.
