1  Element boards / The Church / Report #2 - Birth of a bastard child [PRIVATE] on: January 06, 2009, 12:22:13 am
[OOC] THIS REPORT IS ONLY KNOWN AND SEEN BY THE MEMBERS OF THE AVATARI CHURCH [OOC]

TO: The Cardinal of the Avatari Church.

Your eminence...

After many days of waiting for the return of Mercenary Valentine I didst start to wonder if he hadst abandoned the Church Cause and fleeing with his tail between his legs, but upon arriving at the barracks in Cove this evening I didst to my supries find him waiting for me with a hint of interest in his eyes.

After having dragged him along I spoke to him for a brief moment inside the church where he didst provide some valuable informaton regarding the matter of Swaggerlands own wench, the woman Rebeccas newly born child.

What we have found out from this rescent information is the following:

* The female Rebecca is without a doubt a trixter and corrupted by the Guardian by her own nature.

* The child was brought to the world out of wedlocks for certain and she wouldst never see to have the child baptised.

* The man involved called Devante was merley used for the lustful act to bring forth a bastard child with no other relation or affection between them other than that of the flesh wich clearly shows their twisted minds at work.

*PINS UP A DRAWN POSTER ALONG WITH A SCRIBBLED PIECE OF PARCHMENT TAKEN FROM A JOURNAL*

The work of the Lord shalt continue and the cleansing of the infidels shalt increase.

I am most pleased with thy rescent riddance of the vile beasts dwelling around Cove.

I dost hope the church tithe was not forgotten or the Higher Being wouldst not be pleased.
After all having to offer up some coinage to the Avatar cause is one the hardest things to do from a man whos mind is corrupted by the Guardian into the filling his own pockets with riches in such forms of jewelry, gems and gold.

But in doing such a simple task one shalt learn the simple yet rewarding path of humility that teaches every man to show respect and devotion to their superiors, the avatar and the people in their surroundings.

3  Element boards / The Church / Report #1 - News from Swaggerland [PRIVATE] on: January 02, 2009, 03:32:54 pm
[OOC] THIS REPORT IS ONLY KNOWN AND SEEN BY THE MEMBERS OF THE AVATARI CHURCH [OOC]

TO: The Cardinal of the Avatari Church.

After a long days work in the preceptory me and my fellow Brother of the Western Chapter decided it was time to check up on the heathens of Swaggerland, and whilst we had our mounts waterd we had a look around, but As the late evening was closing up on the coast we got abusivly pushed out by drunken men of the Tavern which confirmed our suspicions to that the tavern is still housing some of Sosarias worst men and women alike, mostly drunkards, beggars and cutthroats, but after having settled the matter in our own way we made our way back to the Covian preceptory to clean up before heading back to Cove.

....As the cold night air was upon Cove my fellow brother of yew had already departed back home with his own report for the clergy and errands of his own to attend to.

Moments later I aswell departed from the preceptory en-route towards the church and upon arrival had my rounds checking that things were in order at the barracks, but when reaching it I stumbled upon a woman from the Swaggerland wich greatly infuriated me, but I held my tempter letting her state her business, and after a long talk with the female called "Railen" I didst discover plenty of things such as the following:

* Kas Valentine hath been accused by this woman of sinful acts with several other females in the regions of Swaggerland.

* The treacherous Mistress of Swaggerland called "Rebecca" hath given birth to a bastard son most likley out of wedlocks to a man called "Devante Stirling"

After trying to judge the female during the conversation I didst find that she spoke the truth throughout all of it, and due to the honesty of the female I didst let her return unpunished to Swaggerland.

...Several days later I confronted mercenary Kas Valentine to the stated accusations where he didst confess to them, but having little time to deal out a punishment, I decided I couldst aswell use the man in order to obtain more inforation regarding the birth of a bastard child from the female called Rebecca stating that if he wouldst bring back the required information and evvidence to back it up he shalt be pardoned from his previous sins, but if failing to comply he shalt be hunted by the Templi Order along with the rest of the Covian followers.

I doth hope this information shalt prove useful in further investigations.

Brother,

My work in the outer provinces of Papua has almost come to an end, and I must with a humble sence of joy admit things have been going smoothly with the education of the savages living in the region.

With that said I shalt commence my long journey back to Cove town and I shalt report to thyself upon arrival.

I doth hope things hath not been too troublesome in my absence.

Your loyal servant and Brother in arm.

For anyone still interested or having questions regarding the library, please turn to myself as I am the owner running it with the support of a very helpful staff.

I have been out around Sosaria looking for many other libraries, and we have a form of alliance where we are working alongside with like 8 libraries of different kinds, RP and non RP, but the books will consist mostly of RP books and we want to keep most of it to playerwritten.

For the moment we have some 2100 playerwritten books, and more to come for sure thanks to the help of many friends.

We shall be running the main library on "TWO" plots as I cannot squeeze it all into one due to lockdown restrictions.

And some joint efforts shall be soon made in the future with Mela to form a newspaper section in-game where we shall be placing them around at guildtowns, etc..

Godfrey reads the note carefully as he enters the church and lets out a heavy grunt before walking down the corridor of empty benches where burning torches along the stonepillars light up his path down towards the armoury where he reached for his mace and equipment...

After having armoured up he wanderd off to the stable, preparing his J'holmian steed with a proper saddle and rode off towards the barracks with a rolled parchment in his clutched hands.

Upon arriving at the barracks he nails up a wanted poster with a drawing and some text below:

This man shalt be arrested or knocked on sight for a previous crime that hath included provocation, threatening & harming a female citizen and thievery, and aswell the current crime placed upon him for heathenous acts upon a churchman.

This is a sketched drawing of the culprit turned in from the abused female Citizen.

Upon his capture or beating thou shalt place beneath a proof whereby thou shalt be rewarded with the Higher beings Blessing and a payment of gold from myself...

As the morning mist sets down over the township of Cove a stranger wearing a dark brown robe wanders slowly into the town, gazing around from beneath his hood as he makes his way around the buildings and finally arriving at the church.

After a while you wake up to the hammering sounds of a sledgehammer working furiously within the thick stone walls of the church.
As some of the local Covian peasants make their way to the church they find themselves standing before a rather mysterious man looking down at them with a shiny armour and a black cape hanging around his shoulders and a glimmering blade hanging from his waist that reflects the sunlight as the sun rises over the sea.

The strange figure some recognize as a Templar just walks away along the  shore and vanishes in the dense mist...

Just as the Templar has gone, people turn back to look at the church, finding a note nailed into the door, as you get closer to the note you can read the following text:

"The Covian church hath returned to oversee the population of Cove and to make sure they are abiding all the laws set by man and the higher being...

Mass shall commence and be held regularly at sundays where you, the local people of Cove are required to attend or shall suffer the consequences for your absence.

Heathens beware...
