After the training Yenril told us about the scorpions who lived in the desert north and suggested we took a patrol there to thin out their numbers. These creatures can do a lot of damage with theur poisoned tail and already many travellers were killed by them . So we prepared ourselves and headed north over the road , where we dealt swiftly with the monsters trying to stop us. After a few miles we suddenly were ambushed by a great gang of bandits , who had been hiding there to rob anyone passing. But this time they made a huge mistake , as it were no innocent and defenseless travellers passing by but a group of welltrained Covian soldiers. We quickly made them see the error of their way and wiped out the whole group , leaving their bodies on the road as a warning to all others trying to pull misschief on Cove's soil. We then continued our way to the desert , where we started to kill as many scorpions as we could find. Our metal armour protected us well against their tails , making them fall with the dozen. Soon the sand was covered with their corpses. Seeing that there was no danger anymore i asked to be dismissed and left the other two behind to deal with the remaining scorpions.

After sir Tiberius had led us to the graveyard , where we fought a heroic battle against hordes of undead , we returned to the barracks for a little training. Well , little... We started with the training of several orders . Ready arms , at ease , about face , ...they were all drilled into us till perfection. After that we divided into two groups , preparing ourselves for a though condition training. First my group had to run laps while the others had to do pushups , later we reversed the roles. I must say , i think sir Tiberius wasn't very fond of the other group for some reason as he made them run 10 laps while we only had to do five. Not that i'm complaining about it. After this we had to face eachother and hit till one of us dropped. The first one to fall would be a manlover , a strange expression if you ask me because in a sort of way it's not really insulting for a girl . I managed to knock down Yenril . He too placed in a few good punches at me and most of us had a nicely changed face after this excercise.


Then it was time for an equipment check. After my little neglectance of last time ( i hadn't brought enough bandages with me ) i was very confident i had everything on me , till it was time to show our lightsources. Apparently we always need to bring torches with us and sir Tiberius politely made clear to me that next time i better have one with me ( i believe his exact words were something like...YOU MAGGOT , WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE IN A DARK CAVE NOW!!) At least i was not the only one to have forgotten it.


We ended training with a free for all , in which i managed to stay on my feet till only the captain was left . After a short but hard fight he floored me and that ended the training . After a final lineup we were dismissed and we all went back to our duties.

What :
Sergeant Hoagie took us up to the traininggrounds up the roof to do some training . First he inspected our gear . Then he trained our physical condition by making us do several excercises. We started with pushups , then did situps and ended with running five laps around the arena . It was hard but the sergeant didn't gave us a moment rest and continued with the training . Next the sergeant started to hit us with a stick and we had to heal eachother , making sure nobody fell. And we did succeeded in this , which means that either we were very good at healing or the sergeant hits like a little child . Then we did some target practice . The sergeant shouted one of our names and then the others had to hit him . That was a real fun excercise except the part when they got to hit me. We ended training by a free for all round. I managed to stay on my feet till only the sergeant was left but got beaten by him . After this the sergeant ended the training and we were all dismissed. I think we all had fun but apparently it's a custom that after the training you insult the sergeant behind his back , cursing him for the hell he put you trough. I guess i stil have a lot to learn .
