It's been suggested that he's a stand-in for Blackthorn. With the present event-cycle being based primarily on Ultima V, and Blackthorn killed off in a pointless earlier scenario, they needed someone to fill the void of the ambitious nobleman turned tyrant.

Like Kas I wasn't overly impressed by the EM, though it can't have been easy. Not with a bunch of attention whores scaling the walls, at least.

Ahh, democracy.. bollocks. Points taken! I did read the whole post, but as was said, my attention shifted to one or two lines. Regardless, I still don't see the point of it, nor do I get how it would make sense IC - as Cal said - all guilds fighting over Stonekeep? Why? Most avoid it like a plague. One or two town-centred guilds and their allies scuffing it out makes alot more sense. Isn't that what's going on right now?

As far as I'm aware; you could  do. I'm relatively certain that Grd has used horses in the past, but only really in planned battles.. templars asside, since their arses are glued to their horses. I'd agree that they need something other than conflag potions to counter Mages, Paladins, and Necromancers though.
