In Character Boards / In Character Board / Dungeon Wrong

As i rose from tightening the laces on my boats i looked to see a line of well equipped malitia guardsmen standing with me. I then looked infront to see Commander Gregor Eason standing up right, eyeing the line of men that stood before him. He went on to explain the tactics that will be used in our hunt to Wrong. We stood quietly, listening to every word that the commander had to say as we new that if we done what he instructed us to do, then we will leave dungeon in one piece.  The commander asked me to open a portal to the the dungeon where we would begin our hunt. I opened the gate and the malitia poured in. "Knowone, goes infront of the commanding officer" Gregor yelled, "ME!" he roared banging his shield! The commander then led us into the dungeon where myself and Odenetheus gave the troops night sight. We moved deeper into the dungeon, obeying The commanders orders and stayng close together, prepared for whatever came at us. We followed the pathway right, towards the cells of the dungeon. Here we were confronted by juka warriors, mages and lords! "ready arms" the commander screamed! We armed up and as a team began slaying every juka in sight!  After destroying all juka men in the cells we moved through the portals that were vacated close to the entrance of the building, we followed our leader through the portal. We immediately found ourselves in another battle with juka warriors but this time there was golems also. We began crashing through the evil figures that stood in our way, some men parted from the group, fear rushing through there veins. Gregor shouted for some order. but it was too late for the mercenary Kasei Senshi, who fell at the hands of the juka warriors.  We moved back round to the portal that had brought us up to this level of the dungeon after picking up Kasei. We lined up infront of the commander who ordered for the group to be split up into two squadrons. My squadron was made up of Gregor Eason, Jevonia, Seamus and myself. We moved to the east side of the dungeon where we were ambushed by a number of brigands and juka fighters. We held together well. healing well as a group, but the force and power of the juka warriors spell were too much as the commander and jevonia fell. Mysel;f and seamus fought on and picked up the wounded, we healed the commander and jevonia back to a fit state and they fought on couragously! As the last of the juak warriors fell we made our way back to the entrance of the dungeon where we met the rest of the group, where The commander led us out of the dungeon.  We gathered outside the, many of the men holding there wounds. They would receive treatment from izzy when we arrived back at the barracks which im sure they were more than happy about. The commander praised our work in the dungeon and then dismissed us when we arraved at the barracks. I was standing outside the barracks with two recruits, Fenix and Corliss. We were discussing where we should hold our next patrol when suddenly from the shadows an orcish looking man appeared, He spoke of something in his orcish language and then struck Corliss with a hammering blow from his halberd! after the initial shock I immediately jumped into action as did Fenix, and i ordered the guardsmen to form around me. we prepared ourselves, not knowing whether he was going to stirke again. I looked around me at the both the recruits stand next to me, and was pleased to see that they were not phased by this attacker, i could see the concentration in there eyes as they peered around the surrounding looking for the bandit. We waited for a few more minutes, and then i decided that it would be best if we went in search for the attacker to make sure that he had gone from cove for good. I gave instructions of what our plan was to be if we saw the bandit again....  We began slowly moving off east on our patrol looking for the attacker, the malitias guardsmen formed around me. We searched the cove but found nothing but trouble at the graveyard. after slaying many undead i gave the order to return to barracks and hold defensive positions. The attacker was not seen again. As i said he looked like an orc and was dressed in black with a halberd equipped. I want this man dead! I will pay who ever brings me his head one million gold crowns! thats right! one million gold crowns! this beast can not get away with his crime! bring me his head and evidence that its the right orc and i will pay ye the reward you deserve. I sent out a pidgeon to all the malitia, to meet at the barracks, ready for a hunt to the dungeon covetous. I felt ready to lead my first hunt and was excited about what future held for in the Malitia. within moments i had a squadron of malitia troops lined out infront of me awaiting my next order. "Good Morning men!" i yelled. i was then greeted by the usual mumble of 'good morning sir' from the guardsmen. I explained to the men our aims and objectives of our hunt to covetous and then opened up a portal to the dungeon and ordered the men to enter. We stood outside the dungeon and prepared ourselves. "ready arms!" i cried, and with that the guardsmen and scouts drew the weapons, "all in" i said and we entered the dungeon... The heat of the dungeon was immense and as i looked up i could see bursts of flames shooting out of the ground, "mind the flames" izzy shouted as we started dodging through the flames.  We carried on through the dungeon, the heat now starting to pass, and began making our way through a passage where we were attacked by many harpys and stone harpys. we held our formation and crashed through the bird like beasts! When we reached the end of the passage we saw light and made our way towards it. we were outside, but in a maze like area. we began moving forward with caution, at the end of a long pathway was another entrance to another part of the dungeon. i oredered the men through it again and followed them up at the rear, We were suddenly ambushed by a group of gazers and lava gazers, with a roar my men attacked and sliced through the magical beasts, who were no match for the power of the malitia. I was then asked my a number of men if they could be dismissed due to matters elsewhere, i dismissed them and decided that it would be best that the rest of us headed back to the barracks, izzy opened up a portal and we all made our way through it. The remaining men lined up and i ordered them to drop there gold crowns on the floor. All the money gathered was given to izzy for the hospital fund. We stood infront of sargeant grenadier Ryan Greystone outside of the barracks. in a well formed line. Ryan began fumbling around for a map in his bag, as soon as we saw this we all sighed, for we knew we were about to get lost. He pulled a map from his bag and squinted, he peered closely at it. "Right men" he yelled, "follow me" i know where were goin", i heard the Tydius Benoit mumble next to me, "of course you do". we began marching east, none of us had a clue where we were heading, we just put our trust in the sargeant and followed his orders. We marched for what felt like a eternity through the dry woods of yew, until eventually the sargeant shouted "alt!", he again pulled out a scruffy map and stared at it. "ahh, yes, this way men" he said confidently, we followed him as he began to head further east. around one hundred yards later he came to a halt and we all suddenly stopped behind him. "anything wrong sir" regdar asked, ryan looked blankly into the woods infront of him "erm" he paused, "wrong way men!", "follow me!" we all moaned loudly, our legs already beginning to tire. Not long after turning around and heading north ryan stopped as at a gaping black hole and oredered us to drop in. I gasped and leapt into the hole, not knowing what was at the bottom, I hit the bottom with a thud closely followed by Kal Shadowhand. I glared around the cave, the walls were wet and the ground was damp. We began treading carefully through the cave, following the sargeants every step. Suddenly in the distance appeared a solen warrior, "ready arms!" Ryan yelled! we charged the beast and with great might struck it down.  There, where it had fell was another whole, Ryan again ordered us to lunge into it. we hit the bottom and carried on following the sargeant, by now i was certain he was lost but was too proud to say. We moved slowly through the cave but were suddenly ambushed by a solen queen and her warriors, Regdar was struck by a warrior and was covered in acid! he fell to the ground moaning with pain, whilst the rest of the squadron smashed through the mysterious monsters.  I helped him to his feet and we carried on our march through the cave. "ahh, heres the exit" Ryan shouted, standing over another black hole. we all jumped down the hole one by one and were pleasantly surprised to find out that Ryan was correct, it was the exit. "follow me men" he called and began marching off, we prepared ourselves and began following. Before long we were at the entrance of the orc fort, i could hear the orcs screaming in the distance and beating the weapons together. The sargeant guided us into the fort and then ordered us to split up and kill every orc in the fort! I decided to guard the entrance so no more orcs could enter, i began casting fields of fire and poison at the entrance to inflict pain into the orcs that tried to enter. Before the long the fort was silenced, i listened for anymore noise of orcs, then the silence was broken, "FOR COVE" someone shouted, followed by cheers of "huzzah!". I walked to the center of the fort and looked around at was left of the orc stongholt  I left the fort and joined the form that the squadron had made around watchman regdar, who seemed abit dazed from what had happened and was not responding. Ryan ordered us to protect him and keep away any orcs. again i cast fields of poison and fire to keep the orcs away....  regdar came back to us sharply! "sorry sir" he said, "i dont no what happened", "never mind" ryan replied, "ye back now, lets move on!" We all followed, holding our wounds from the previous battles, wondering where Ryan was taking us now, we marched west through un known woodland to me and as we did i spotted an enemy elf in the distance, we carried on through and i didnt think he would be stupid enough to make an attack on a seven man squadron. suddenly i felt a sword brush passed my right arm, i jumped back, "what the hell!!" i shouted, i wrestled the elf off me without getting struck, and he fled, a couple of recruits ran straight after him. i put that down to in-experience. Ryan shouted for the recruits to come back, as they did, he oredered us to form around him. the foolish elf came back again to try and make an attack but before he could i cast an explosion and flame strike combination upon him, he again scattered off. Ryan then ordered me to paralyze him if was to come back again. we held our position and the elf again came back, i paralyzed him and as i did Ryan screamed the order to charge! As the first blow went in i paralyzed the elf again and within seconds he fell.. "thats how to deal with the enemy!" Ryan said proudly. we then moved forward just a few hundred yards to the dungeon of shame. That was where the hunt finished for me as i had pressing business elsewhere. Arc and Veldrin of the Arcane Company joined the squadron to go deep into shame...
