Darcy woke, feeling fresh for the first time since she had been struck down by Yewish fever in the winter - she checked her own temperature, and conjured herself a water. Sitting up, she eyed her uniform hanging from the wall across the room. She stared at it for a few moments, seemingly justifying her intended actions to herself.


Darcy rises slowly and places her uniform on

Surprised at how well she felt, she half-skipped past her door, and down her steps, stopping momentarily to smell the sweet Covian air...




"Back to work then" and trudgingly, Darcy squashed through the winter snow up to the barracks to report for duty...
