Patrol of the Altmere Swamps Guardsmen/women in attendance:~
~ Kal Shadowhand, Officer Cadet ~ Hoagie Grayner, Sergeant ~ Eve Thenasa, Senior Grenadier (Leading)
And so it was, that I had orders to travel north of Cove to the swamps, to retrieve Shadwell's pegleg! I know not as to the particulars of how his pegleg had become lodged in the swamp... perhaps it is better left unsaid.
I led the experienced guardsmen into the thick of it, hoping to reveal the pegleg's whereabouts. We dislodged many wooden logs, believing them each time to be the missing prosthesis! And we fought many of the creatures that dwelt there. It was within the belly of one of the fowl stenching beasts that we discovered it. Alas, having it examined back at Cove, the prosthesis was revealed to belong to somebody else!*signed* Eve Thenasa, Senior Grenadier

OOC Boards / OOC Board / Re: Buying Cove House!

This was taken a few days back so be ready to collect what you find when it falls! It's private so do not assume that there is nothing inside. The plot should be there for the taking if you are really needing a place of decent size. This is not near Cove, you will need to travel the road north of altmere, pass the crossroads, heading north, reach the bridge, do not cross it, head east along the river edge, you will find it soon enough.

It's small I know, but it is central Cove! In front of the hospital! It will be a pity to see the items inside decay, so if anyone is around at the time of decay be sure to collect what you can.

An Orderly Training at the Grenadier Headquarters Guardsmen in Attendance:~
~ Baolin, Recruit ~ Fla Goldhammer, Recruit ~ Go-hei, Watchman (joined later) ~ Marcus Kobra, Watchman ~ Delferium, Watchman ~ Takeamada, Junior Grenadier ~ Hoagie Grayner, Sergeant ~ Raiden Morana, Grenadier Captain
~ Eve Thenasa, Grenadier Corporal (leading)
I instructed the group to be seated around the meeting table to discuss Orders! We went through each of the combat and battle training order in turn, including the orders 'Set Rally Point' and 'Rally'. I wanted to be sure that all orders were understood before we put them into practice.
Those orders were put into practice upon the roof top of the headquarters, many many times, until they were thoroughly drilled.*signed* Eve, Grenadier Corporal

OOC Boards / OOC Board / Re: Armour restrictions for civilians?
|
on: July 18, 2008, 11:03:53 am
|
We should not have civilians running around being mistaken as guardsmen! No metal armour is allowed, however you may use plain coloured leather, as long as it follows the no magic/runic/enhanced rules. I will update the information on the citizen announcement board. Please also note the following;- 1. The following items are classed as tools and/or lower class items and may be used by all citizen members:
Pitchfork, club, cleaver, butchers knife, staff, gnarled staff, hatchet, scythe, bow.
2. No citizen may engage in PvP unless told otherwise. Situations may arise where the Baron calls the citizens to arms and they will be allowed to defend themselves and these will be specified prior to engagement with any enemy force. Citizens may also apply to have a license to PvP which will be handled by BoC command on a case by case basis.
