I've said before on another board, para shouldn't be needed at all except where you have a runner concerned,
Para/Explo/Para/Explo (rinse repeat) is just as lame.

With assassins, it's no longer the problem with poison resist, more so those running around with templates gimped to the teeth using orange petals, and a few other scenarios.
