After Gathering a few guardsmen and even a few visitors, I set out to complete my final task. We were joined with two of our Yewish Allies, while the rest of our troops were off being lazy and avoiding my training...cannot imagine why. We started with a full uniform inspection, sadly Senior Guardsman Eason forgot his Parade arm, Instead of letting him off, as I was going to do he requested proper punishment. I proceeded to have everyone face him, and give him a proper covian Booing. Geriatric or not, forgetting ones parade arm is unacceptable. After uniform inspection, we were interrupted by the Church Templars. Was not exactly happy with that, they came in, threatened Sally, harrassed him for gold and left severed elf ears infront of him. After they left, I proceeded with my training. We continued with Kit inspection, once again Regular Guardsman Cowin provided nothing and proved to be a nitwit. Everyone else proved to have expemplary Survival kits, except the Yewish. The rookie did not even know what it was. Makes me wonder how they survived this long. we went over battle formations next, they at least proved to have some brain in their heads.

Upon my nightly patrol around and through the barracks, looking for suspicious activities, i happened across a very inibriated Recruit. This sort of behavior is very common amongst Recruits, given their short lifespan. I got suspecious of him and proceeded to follow him, it just so happens he went right to the Barons office. I stayed around the corner and watched what he would do...




After watching long enough, to insure I had enough evidence to lock him up for Theft, Heresy, Breaking and Entering, and damage to the Barons personal property, I detained the Recruit and proceeded to bring him down the the cells for further interrogation.




The recruit obviously fought and I had to take Immidiate actions to subdue him.



After further interrogation, I learned the Recruits name was Leonard Jenkins.It was clear that the Recruit would be spending some time in that Cell for the following charges:

-Breaking and Entering into the Barons Office

-Damage to the Barons personal Property

-Theft of the Barons Wine

-Heresy and Disloyalty against the Baron

-Illigal substances on his person- Shade

- Assult on a superior

- Drunk and Disorderly

- Suspected of being a Vesperian Spy

The Recruit is currently locked in the cell, pending punishment.

Immidiately after todays parade i took charge and led a Battle Training. As stated in my tasks, all 3 Grenadiers in attendance were amongst my team. needless to say, we completely destroyed the other team. each time...

Trial 4: Brotherhood

I met with five separate Grenadiers over the corse of several days. I spoke with each and got to know them a bit, and they in turn got to know me. I've submitted proof of meeting with them, along with some approvals as requested for my entry into the Grenadiers.

I was casually standing post outside the Barracks with the newly improved model of Goatbow, GoatbowIV, when the Grenadier Corporal Torrak Keres and Genadier Regular Keitaro Kazami came by. I thought, WELL isn't this a gift from the Avatar himself! I introduced myself to the Corporal and was thoroughly questioned on my background and life. Having nothing to hide, I answered honestly and quickly got his Approval. Keitaro and I have also known one another for a great many years, and there was no need for introductions, but he did state a promise that he would send in his written approval of my becoming a Grenadier.

Upon realizing my luck further, the Corporal insisted I complete one of my other tasks while I had them both there. A Duel to show my fighting ability. Thinking I was ready for a fight, the Corporal insisted on fighting me first, I used all the knowledge I've learned over the years and fought him twice, winning both times. By the time I stood to fight Keitaro I realized quickly my mistake, I ran out of Bandages! Normally I am never this careless, and had no choice but to continue and resort to meditating chants to keep me from dropping. We fought for a good long while, until finally! I managed to break Keitaro's Mace with my own and Hammer him down, winning the Duel. This Junior is well tired, and earned herself a good rest. After I sort out my supply of bandages of course......

The Sinner's Journal- A Mothers Fear



   As my redemption trials ended with the church, I stood before Frair Hugo in fear of him. Normally, nothing scares me, but something about this man shook me to my very core. Who would have thought a Templar would be one of my greatest fears. I guess nearly losing my unborn baby after he commanded the guard to beat me down was enough to open my eyes. I do not remember how my baby survived it, I remember one of the Vale girls in the room with Jassi, Kobra and I. I could feel magic coursing through my body and healing me. She must be just like her mother, a magical healer. I remember falling asleep in Jassi's arms for the short time, and returning to the unbuilt church soon after. It was done, built, over. I survived, and regained my freedom once more, or did I?

   The Frair Hugo held me up inside the church after all was said and done, told me that my path was not at an end, he still had use of me. That very statement sent shivers down my spine, the last thing I want is to be a slave to the church. Since that day I remain hidden mostly, I try not to make a big entrance. Its been some time since I saw my Fiance, I needed to go to him now. Especially hearing that Cove and Vesper were fighting again, this worries me. I entered the Tavern were I saw Sioned, they were speaking of possible war between Cove and Vesper, and that my old “Friends” from Yew would side with Cove. Deep in my heart I knew they would obliterate Vesper as they are now. Fear struck me once more, I thought about Theoden, my would be father in law, his children I came to know well, and my child Eric who was living with him while I was enslaved by the church.

   My boy is thirteen now, and barely able to sneak about, I haven't been able to train him much. He would not survive a war, I know he would try to fight with his grandfather. I also know I could not take part in this war, not pregnant. My only logical reasoning I could come up with, is run. I know leaving Cove would mean to leave Jassi, to leave the eyes of the Church and the Frair that scared me half to death. As a mother I have to make a decision, I know Jassi loves me, and would want his family safe. I plan to take Eric from Vesper, leave Cove behind, and find a safe place until this boils over. I've never run from a fight before, but the chance of losing my baby again, scares me more then that Templar. I'm willing to take my chances on the run again. I may not care about my own life, but the lives of my children is what keeps me breathing.

   To Hell with the Church, I'll take my chances...................

Task Three – Stunning Sentry

After a long afternoon of training the Lazy Bums troops in Cross healing, I took the remainder that wasn't too banged up and just standing around the barracks, and made a sentry. My fellow Guardsmen were more then thrilled to help me with my third and last trial, maybe except for Cowin. That git.
Within the first ten minutes of having the lovely, fully furnished and awesome Sentry built, we were visited by Cowin's apparent niece. who in fact happened to be an elf of nature, and was thoroughly taxed. the Officer Cadet took a leave for a moment, and soon we were visited by a guardian spawn! I've included sketches of the night so far.





Upon neutralizing the threat that was the gargoyle, it was quickly learned it was indeed the Officer Cadet "Pickles" who reappeared after a thorough bashing. Kobra decided it was necessary to comment on the Officer Cadets hind quarters.



As the night came to an end, and the Sentry was in the process of being taken down, we had another visitor, but from Vesper. Miss Sioned of the rat hole called Swaggers. She and the Officer Cadet "pickles" Knew one another well, and something smelled fishy...and it wasn't just the smell of the bar wench visiting. She claimed to only be looking at the buildings' architecture and played nice. This Watchman did not trust her, but the others welcomed her and invited her to drink at the Goblin.



This concludes my report on the Sentry, and our Uninvited guests of the evening.

After speaking with a Recruit who was holding her own training the same day I planned this one, immediately after she finished her's, mine followed. We had a good turn out, and it was perfect conditions for the Terror Training I had planned. Today's training was mostly for -Cross Healing- upon my last task I noticed the officers attending were slacking in that department. I took it upon myself to try and retrain these Slackers Fine officers in the fine art of keeping your fellow soldiers up on their feet during battle.

We went through many simulated battle scenarios and at one point I was clearly knocked off the barracks roof, luckily I survived and landed in the water. One can only pray the learned something during my training, and ended it with a free for all battle which Officer Cadet Melior won.

Several days in advance I put out a notice to all guardsmen to help me complete my first task of my trials to get my shiney new cap!
the mission; to delve deep into the bowels of Destard and wreck the Ugly Guardian Lizard spawns, collect their hides, and seize their treasures.

Upon entering the dastardly dungeon of Destard, we quickly realized these creatures were nothing to spit at. Many recruits present lost their lives in the great battle. Sadly, I could not remember all their names, gave a few of them nicknames, like Dinglehopper and Butters. They will surely be missed, I think.

I have also made sketches of our great battle, and included great triumph and some defeats. This first Task has already given me idea's on my next task at hand.....
