It was me time to keep advancin' with me tasks, so I scheduled an evenin' tha' started so well, but almost turned into a nightmare.

After Miss Vale gave me a few hints about gettin' heared and present myself as a bit more secure, I ordered the line to move to the Covian gate and from there, straight north from Ilshenar Spirituality gate to the spider caves.

Truly a creepy sight with all the spider webs, but none backed down stompin' and slicin' these vile creatures. We ventured further to the end of the cave where we eventually arrived at a shinin' tile tha' turned out to be a teleporter. This' where Master Kobra mentioned his concerns about trustin' arcanists, as I quote him "It's always a fifty-fifty chance if they tell the whole truth". In this case tho, they dinnae lie and we arrived safely at the island on where the Ethereal Fortress is located.

This is where Miss Tingleith, or how she calls herself now, Miss Rothsmire joined us. While the winged Guardians left us in peace, it was when she arrived they went into a frenzy and attacked us. A fierce battle broke out, and after we almost lost our grips, we somehow managed to overcome the foe, even tho we had to retreat in the underground.

However, we slayed more than two and in the end, I took as ordered their heads to present them to baron later.

Afterwards, we left the place, back through the spider cave, where people yet again failed to listen to me. But I made them listen to me outside. I was shocked by myself, to be honest. I dinnae knew I had it in me...

On our way back to the barracks, we stumbled upon a giant, blue demon. Miss Vale immediately attacked in and it was felled quickly. In the end, everyone except myself, Miss Rothsmire and Master Kobra donated their share of 3,100 coins and they were dismissed.

My mentor, Officer Kobra, called us all to the barracks for a bit of a game called Savage Bashing. We went to the lands of Ilshenar, where we headed south from Compassion gate through hordes of mice, tentacle monsters and golden birds.



After the gypsy camp, it dinnae take us long before we arrived at the swamps, which the savages called their home. I say called, because wha' we did there was a bloody genocide.

The goal was to collect as many masks as possible, paired in two.

I was with Kobra himself, while Junior Vale was with Regular Jarrett, and Senior Keres with Watchman McStan.

Kobra and I did split up to collect more masks individually, sometimes forming up again when things were gettin' nasty.





After the thirty minutes time limit had been over, and many corpses of tribal people covered our paths, we regrouped outside fort to present our loot.

As I recalled, mine and Jarretts team tied with both collecting eight masks. I dinnae count Keres' loot, but he had way less.



Afterwards, Regular Jarrett called for stickin' around to do one of his trials, but I had to be dismissed, so I also don't know how much gold was collected on tha' genocide fun game.

[Task 1 - Gathering Bandages]

Task 1 - Gathering Bandages

My way to gather wool led me to Yew, where I soon encountered a stall with sheep and farmers. Kindly enough, they dinnae chase me off.



As I sheered all the sheep, I soon realized tha' I'd be here for a lifetime to gather enough wool.





I reflected on my decision for wool in Cove, as I got greeted by a blue haired member of the arcanist squad. She told me tha' there are fields in Moonglow where cotton grows. Kindly enough, she opened me a portal to there where I was able to pluck the cotton of the plants.



Afterwards, my way led me to New Haven where I asked the local tailor to use the spinning wheel and loom to make use of the gathered cotton and wool.
In the end, I gathered enough for 550 bandages and therefor see this task as for filled.

What: Killin' orcs and stealin' their coins

So I had just been strollin' around near the barracks when I encountered Miss Tingleith. I introduced myself to her, and she did the same. However, she seemed very disturbed by me callin' her Ma'am.

So I offered her to accompany me at the orc fort. As some may know, I clobbed' some orcs before I enlisted the army, so I still find myself often goin' there.

With Miss Tingleith around, we cut and smashed our ways through the fort, findin' all kinds of different and weird things. Once arrivin' at the south, a huge and massive orc attacked us. However, after a few stabs and smashes to the kneecaps, it fell and very earth beneath us shook.

Once we arrived at the pier, we went back to the entry, where we were expected by yet another three of these giant orcs. They must have been angry tha' we killed their friends, because they went straight towards us. However, we did not fail and thus, claimed another grand victory for Cove.

Back at the barracks, Miss Tingleith kept her share of 10.000 coins, while I donated mine.

Rats can spread the plague, the Officer setting this trial is correct.

Many a times I saw other recruits stomping and smashing rats in Cove, and now, it was my time to do so.

Throughout the town and the Shire, I stomped and bashed 15 rats and one gruesome ogre that wanted to prevent me from doing so. It may have been a friend of the rats...

As ordered, I burned the dead rats after my work was done and cleaned myself up. The last thing we want is the plague happening in Cove!

Gwen is a tall woman with a fairly posture body. She has long black hair, usually tied in some sort of way. Her eyes are deep brown and several scars are all over her body.
Even tho she is very loyal and shows deep respect to her superiors, Gwen is a very introvert person and prefers to listen, instead of talking. This attitude of hers lets her seen as strange and weird sometimes

She was born and raised in Cove. While her parents were just farmers, Gwen always aimed to help people in a more direct way. At an early age of fourteen, she helped out the healers in Cove on almost a daily basis. Soon they noticed her talent to treat both physical and psychological traumas and took her on as their apprentice.

The older she became, the more she kept going south to the Glenmore Highlands, where she spied on the orcs and to find a way to get rid of them, as those were most responsible for all the injured people in Cove.
Alas, she wasn't able to fight them all alone and thus, made herself a hobby to lure out smaller orcs one by one and pummel them with a big stick.

She joined Coves army to become a Grenadier and a field medic one day.

Gwen is very compassionate, but also a follower of the Avatarian Church. She knows of the sins her Compassion brings with her and therefor, attends the church often and repents.
