Task One: Withstanding Weather:
Your first task is to lead at least four fellow guardsmen into a cold place, which is cold enough to give a home to an Arctic Ogre Lord. Make your way into said place, slay the beast and bring back at least 15,000 gold coins.
Conditions:Before the hunt begins, you must give a short (possibly ten minutes maximum) warm-up for the guardsmen, to ensure that they are prepared for the task.
At the end of this task before dismissal, a thousand coins will be rewarded to each attendant of your hunt for the beast.
During this hunt, appropriate orders will be carried out to ensure that the lower ranks understand what they should be doing. (All the things you learn as a Recruit: Formations, healing, charging targets and looting up)
If 15,000 gold coins are not retrieved, you shall not have passed this task.
Task Two: Tiresome Training:
A training session is to be led! For your second task, you must plan a training session for the guardsmen. This task must be based on things such as:
- The importance of using potions, bandages and other materials during battle.
- Stressing the fact of always carrying the necessary equipment – Also the things that come with it, like good-conditioned armour.
- Extra tips for guardsmen to ensure their safety in the harsh winter conditions.
Conditions:At least four guardsmen must also attend this training session.
This training must be led in Cove Town. Be creative!
You must have your own set-up equipment to aid you in this session. In other words: Plan ahead.
Task Three: Gathering Goods:
Civilians are in need of supplies of raw materials. They cannot work as well in the winter as we can. A part of our duty as Guardsmen of Cove is to ensure our Citizen’s well-being. In order to help them, you must lead a variety of patrols and possibly hunts to gather the following:
- 500 Logs
- 1000 Feathers
- 500 Ingots of any kind
- 500 Cloth
- 1000 Leather of any kind
Conditions: All of these materials MUST be gathered through patrols, hunts and other activities involving guardsmen.
You may seek advice and aid from Civilians of Cove, and they may assist you on your hunts. Note that they will, however, be under your full protection.
If you wish, you may gather more than one of these materials on each errand. The choice is yours.
