Arcanist List
Wytchcraft, commonly known as 'Magery', is a tool of Guardian and an act of heresy, punishable by death through cleansing by fire.
Soldiers, by law, who use wytchcraft legitimately
must be branded as an Arcanist by a member of the Church, otherwise their acts are deemed no better than pure wytchcraft, and they run the risk of being burnt at stake. This applies also to users of the spell 'Recall' by any means.
Citizens and affiliates of Cove who use wytchcraft may request to be branded as an Arcanist to avoid eternal damnation, however, unlike Soldiers, they are not required to do so. Note that all citizens and affiliates of Cove who are not branded will be regarded as wytches, and should avoid displaying anything pertaining to magic in the presence of the Church.
