Citizen Farfar’s Treasures?

It is known that Farfar has been missing for some considerable time.  I had heard of numerous rumours that suggested he had been taken by the undead, but the following expedition confirms it.

For administration purposes, the following were in attendance:-

  Mr Ty (OOC:- a blue)
  Mr C Haap, Watchman
  Father Siegfried
  Myself Miss Masteen

Having decoded a map, found to be amongst  his belongings (which had already been ransacked, but by whom I know not), I decided to employ the help of civilians and guardsmen to accompany me to Buccaneers  Den. 

At the first of the map coordinates I could see that something had been buried in the soil!  But as the guardsman carried out the laborious task of digging, monsters from the abyss, such as I never seen before, circled around us and overwhelmed almost the entire group.  It was some considerable time later that the Covian guardsmen managed to fight back, and returning to the hole a number of empty ale bottles was all that was revealed.  What ever could it mean?  I suspect that Farfar had buried some sort of treasure here, and then later come to retrieve it, perhaps he had run low on his funds and needed more money for ale?  No other items did we find here.

The guardsmen learn quickly, and having sought out the second coordinates, prepared themselves for any forthcoming attack.  This time they were not overwhelmed by the monsters that rose from the abyss.  This time there was a note amongst the empty bottles that were revealed as a result of the digging.  The note was written in an almost illegible hand, but enough to reveal to us of his growing concern of an haunting by an undead in female form.

It is the suggestion of Father Siegfried that, we head next to Trinsic, for it is said that the place is rife with hideous races, such as vampires!
