The purpose of this mission was simply to do a bit of sentrying and to keep our cemetery free of the vicious undead types that have been coming out of the ground at night lately. We nay appreciate their haunting.
To make a decent structure we roamed around Coveshire to find materials. First, we slaughtered several large beasts. Daggers in hand, we skinned their hides from their stinking carcasses. Simultaneously, we had our hatchets hacking away at trees. We harvested logs wherever they were in abundance and carried them back to the barracks stacking them into piles. Eventually we had all the raw materials we needed so that we might conduct a proper sentry. We built a fortification around the entrance to the barracks out of the hides and makeshift wooden crates.
We stood guard for a bit and chatted. Then Sarge made us do some press-ups to improve our finesse! This was definitely the low point of the evening for me.
'Twas time to enter the iron gates of the cemetery. I swear by Avatar's wounds - every time I think I hath seen the most vile looking undead there appears another to prove me false. We opened the gates and proceeded to cleanse the area. I shot fire left and right. With our sheer numbers and force things went ever so swimmingly. Indeed, the liches didn't stand a chance. We cut whatever was left of their decomposing sagging throats right down to the bone!
Below I've pasted a few sketches of our activities to this parchment.
We returned to our fortification outside the barracks and lined up orderly for Sergeant Grayner. Our services do nay come cheap! After we were paid there was a total of 555 gold left for the coffers.
For Cove!
