Time:2000hrs

Guardsmen Leading:
Demarian Tel'var, Regular Guardsmen

Guardsmen Attending:
Commander Raiden Morana
Regular Grenadier Marcus Kobra
Regular Grenadier Darek Milako
Junior Guardsmen Rita Whalebiter
Watchman Dave Williams
Guardsmen Recruit Bersi

Well with an eager drive to getmyself back to Senior and also fetch myself some more renown, I decided a little drip was in order to the Dungeon of Doom in malas umbra section.
After doing some information digging on the place... found out its the home of a Bone Daemon quite a destructive beast and powerful at that.
Gather a small group of Guardsmen, I had recruit Bersi get me a special purchase of Daemon bones I'd ordered... I'd no use what they were for, only that it would be something to do with the Bone Daemon.
After heading to Doom via Recruit Bersi's help we engaged a couple of hostile locals.. devil tree's and headless recruits that run ahead of patrols and get massacred.
I've always remembered patrols to Doom... going horribly wrong so I put Bersi on only Arcanist on healing duty most logical thing to do, though only encountered by a few bats and skeletal abominations dungeon seems almost innocent until you meet the Hordes of Liches and other twisted creatures like a Ravenger... or These blue things...we had a few to deal with.. and found an old woman inside who explained she'd been kept trapped or something and would help us cross the river of the dead... by Summoning a Bone Daemon she needed a thousand Daemon bones....

which wasn't exactly great so creating a large pile of dead abominations and collecting there bones.. wasn't the best bit of fun I've had in awhile... though when she summoned the thing...was a good fight though long and hard Recruit Bersi did an excellent job of healing, for someone of his experience and other did there part in bringing down the Daemon...smashed it's skull off, we took a quick breather before going past the river of the dead, black river the beach filled with all sorts of undead and some idiotic lich Lords that went down quicker... than anything I've seen before.. probally they were mongbats in a past life, Skeletal Dragon was extremely easy when it appeared after I rang some bell and... that creepy boat keeper appeared...took the Dragon's tooth anyhow before progressing out,.. through minor resistance few Rooting Corpses, blue things, bats and a couple of ravager's.... Raiden sealed them bastard's in with a conflag burning half of them alive before we headed out.. sum of around Thirty thousand Gold crown's was collected the majority went to the coffer's but each member that attended and successfully left without all... being massarced and loss of armour received three thousand Gold Crowns each.
Nothing else to report...

Well done Dem' and everyone who took part in this mission.

This Guardian's pit is often the scene of slaughter but this was a near perfectly executed mission with good leadership and attention ter orders and teamwork.

The force being mainly comprised of Grenadiers, former Grenadiers and future Grenadiers obviously had a bearin' on this.

Another Covian Victory!

Aye Dem,

I spected this to go no better than one of Miss Thenasa's "Suicide Missions" In the end we made out rather well though I dare say that "deamon bone lord monster beast thing" aught to carry more shineys and other valuables! Gots family to feed and such, plus no sign in the babies suddenly stopping! *shifty eyes*

Grand hunt and well led! Hears to future efforts in daring and renown!

*Signed*

Marcus Kobra, Regular Grenadier, Baron's Own, Army of Cove.

P.S. I look forward ter seeing ye as a Senior and ,if it was the Baron's inclination, to see ye in Bronze once more!
