Morana had arranged the meeting in private. Britain Bank seemed deserted enough for two old friends to talk. Only this was not a friendly talk, as much as a negotiation. Kelly had always considered Raiden too light-hearted a man, and it showed in its full glory that evening. He had a bright smile at the news of her need of returning to Cove, and he did not seem to realise the seriousness of the offences she had committed. Twice a deserter. If Cove and Yew were not on neutral terms, she would most likely not be so lucky.

Her separation from Vince had been granted. She could have never achieved that from the Covian Church, as devout and established Avatar followers were often sparse and unheard of. Only a year of celibacy and daily prayer was asked of her in return. Whether in Cove or Yew, she should still uphold herself to these conditions, despite the Church’s cause for dislike towards her being for various other reasons. Her pay in Yew was not the issue, even at the rank of a Rookie. She was surprised that they had even allowed and trusted her any further than a Trainee. They would regret that now, as did Kelly. Too many friends and family gone, the reason for her departure from Cove: A new start. The new start had not worked, finding she actually missed the upset and pain more than she was enjoying the emptiness and relaxation.

She trundled into the bank to see Morana sat, arms folded, waiting. The two had always been friends, right from the start when she had first set her eyes upon Cove. He simply slid her badge across the table and nodded once. At a closer look, he had changed. He looked tired, but had more of an air of confidence about him that she had never noticed before. He stood and hugged her as if she had never stepped foot out of Cove. No anger no upset. Kelly concluded it was the most bizarre experience she had ever encountered.

[OOC: Just a bit of information regarding Sanderson's returning to Cove. Pleate take note that none of this is known IC unless Raiden and/or Kelly have said otherwise. /OOC]

My ultimate aim is to nag someone to the brink of total blindness and hate that they kill me.

It's for me like for you and pies; if one is staring you in the face you just can't leave it alone.
