*An open letter on the Commander's Desk, addressed to Commander Morana*

Hail Commander!

This eve some Watchmen, Recruits and myself discovered a man encased in iron. We called him the IRON MAN until we were able to release him from his prison, with the help of a local blacksmith whose name evades me. The suit of iron armour was engraved with what Senior Scout Arkay later informed me was of Collegium design. Inside the iron suit we discovered Guardsman Recruit Boreek, who had been badly burned and spoke of being kidnapped and taken to a place near Umbra where 'the abyss met the sand' or something..

Upon receiving permission from the officer on duty, Sergeant Sanderson, a squad of guardsmen including.. Senior Scout Arkay, Regular Chaffers, Regular Stonespear, Guardsman Recruits Drest, Nightroad, and Boreek.. ventured off to Umbra and were able to locate the Collegium outpost the Covian had been brought to.

There we were met with open rudeness from a member of the Collegium, and were told to discuss matters further with 'the Maestro'. I decided it would be a bad idea to make arrests on the spot and rather inform you so that the situation could considered by the Baronship Command. Either way, a positive identification was made by Guardsman Recruit Boreek of one of the Collegium.

With your permission I request to venture back to the Collegium with greater force, make some arrests on those that Guardsman Recruit Boreek identifies, and bring them back to Cove for further questioning.
