The troops were gathered at the barracks and informed of the mission that was to come. We were to head to Atlmere and set up a basecamp for Operation Atlas. This basecamp was to be in a prime position for the mapping of the Swampland. Then a small patrol group were to scout the size of the area in a rough patrol.
The Briefing.
The present troops were then given special boots to help them survive the perils of the swamp. These boots provide more protection and keep your feet dry... They also look rather smashing. We then headed towards the swamp.. taking out brigands and ogres along the way...
The patrol..
After reaching the best location possible for the camp, just outside the swamp where the road disapears.. We began work on creating the basecamp.. using the materials available to us at our location.. It.. was.. Beautiful.

Below is a detailed sketch of the basecamp after it had been completed. I then sent the troops on their mission around the swamp.. The amount of gold they retrieved is detailed below..
