Patrol Rota, 1st-7th March

Following yesterday's attacks on ourselves and our allies in Stonekeep, it's critical that we step up security measures around Cove and surrounding territories. I'm looking for recruits and above who are willing to lead the following patrols.

Monday - The Orc Fort

While clearing the place out, keep eyes peeled for unusual activity.


Tuesday - The Covian Shire
Rita Whalebiter, Junior Grenadier
Follow the Vesperian border. Check the ruins for any sign of disturbance.


Wednesday - Covetowne
Torrak Keres, Grenadier Captain
You are authorised to look through private homes and shops. Also inspect the bank, docks, gate, and watchtower.


Thursday - Baronship Household
Bersi, Arcanist Cadet
Patrol and inspect the following buildings: Barracks, church, tavern, library, the Square. Also check the lake.


Friday - The Altmere
Larinya Angalae, Junior Guardsman
Taking care to treat the locals proper, check our garrisons and the farms along the Altmere road.


Saturday - Avaricia
Lead your group into the many mining caves in the region, including Covetous.


Sunday - Cove Graveyard
Clear the walking undead out. Occupy and hold the crypt through the night, and report back anything of note.

Tuesday's patrol became a manhunt as reports came in that Senior Kelly Sanderson had gone missing, leaving her kit outside the barracks steps.

I split the gathered men into two groups with hopes o' clearing more ground more quickly. Though we been mindful that an old Scout were more than capable o' losing us if she didn't want to be found, Bersi's more southerly group caught on to a trail of barefoot human prints heading easterly through the woods and followed it near the ruins, where Kazami and I caught up with them.

Where our trail grew cold we found an old money-pouch which looked like it'd been tossed aside. if those prints were hers, all signs seemed to point towards her running straight across the border.

Nay caring to give up just yet, we disarmed and crossed into Vesper, where the locals we spoke to denied having seen anyone o' Sanderson's description. The suggestion were raised that she might've headed to the port itself if she were on the gettaway, and with no other leads, we headed that way, finding no clues as to Sanderson's whereabouts but coming across a warning notice Kazami and Drachen figured  might have to do with the unnatural kraken found the day before-- sketched it below.
