Vesper are lately rebuilding their militia. With them gaining power again, they get cocky as Vesperians are, and might ignore or forget the fact that we are their superior allies. Even though they'd be very stupid to break our alliance, we may keep this at ease without spilling blood.

Build guardsposts from time to time, patroulle around their most common meeting places as Swaggers! Show them that we are the stronger force and remind them, that it is our glorius baron Mikael von Richter that is the one they shall obey, and not just their weaklish commander known as Kimi!
