I've already been thinking of moving from Europa to Atlantic, a freeshard if a large number of the Europa community moved to one as a group perhaps. I've decided that too many people my characters give a damn about are gone, I am left with characters whom are empty shells and they are no fun to log into. I've managed to find some fun on Atlantic even if some of the RP over there is rediculous at best but its also fairly unrestricted while giving the same basic ROE that Europa has. I plan to start selling off somethings in my home on Europa in the near future if anyone wants to look through the stuff I have after I sort it out, the move should be by the end of next month and I am not certain I will leave a character on Euro or not.
I've had a wonderful 5 years for the most part, had my conflicts with people, my falling outs, but also had some of -the- best fun hands down. It is sad to see it all go up in smoke, but its time to move on before even the memories go down in fire.
I have been able to call myself, soldier, scoundrel, Baron's Own, Medic, Officer Cadet, shopkeeper, and Templi Squire. In no place have I found so much diversity and so many ways to play. I thank you all for helping to build a community and an environment that someone could get lost in telling their own story. Even if BoC, or the entire Europa community fades away, people will always remember what we did here, long after EA closes the servers, or the last freeshard drops.
"It is the human nature to build things that endure, and when they are destroyed, we rebuild. Again; and again; and again. When even that is not possible then we shall write about it, and when even that is lost, we shall pass down stories and songs of it until comes a time when we can rebuild it."
I shall miss it all, but I will always remember.
