Seeing reports of possible pirates or bandits using our waterways to plunder and pilfer their way across the North I set out on an extended patrol starting from our own Covetowne docks.
I cleared the rats up for the Harbor Master again, and had him run the registry of the Vessel moored nearby.
The Emerald, was properly registered and boarded for quick inspection. Everything seemed above board so I moved on towards the orchard and watch tower. Here I found a Bearfiltrator
TM! He was quickly dispatched and the watch tower secured.
I set out to patrol around the Market squar and the Southern watch post where i checked in with the men stationed there. All was quiet as far as they could tell me. Seeing as the Orcs had not come forth recently I decided to test their forward defenses and probed their watch posts. A handful of Orcish commanders and some lesser orcs slain I retreated for the night into the Glenmoores where I set camp.
The next morning I set out to cover the southern coast line towards vesper, stopping to slay a few minor threats and check in at the Arcanist Tower. Elenore had nothing to report, nor had I seen any pirates or ner'do-wells about. The patrol continued to the south east tip of our shores, a likely place for a lighthouse or watch tower. I carried on up the coast to see if any piratey vessels lurked near Vesperian waters. Though I did see one vessel moored alongside the Swagger's Inn, I was unable to obtain its registration and deciding not to mess into Vesperian affairs I made the road and carried into Altmere following our cost up and around till I reached the Swamps of Britain, not wishing to be lost forever within those wretched and foul smelling depths I beat feet towards the Desert for a quick peek.
I found the desert infested with giant scorpions the side of horses! They stood little chance to my fireballs and where quickly dispatched. The sand and sun where oppressive and I did not linger, I quickly cleared the Altmere road and headed back to check Llama Head Point and the Baronial Household. A harpy or two, some sea beasts, and all was secured with no signs of Piracy or Banditry in the area.
I managed to collect
3 thousand coins on my journey and deposited them with The Quarter Master, he was most pleased this time!
Bellow are some sketches of my encounters:
