Training Report: An Arcanist's Tutorial

I attended a trainin' session led by Junior Guardsman Tsukiyomi Mori. Junior Mori looked like a young fella but he 'ad plenty o' wisdom. He explained all about tha' different magics an' how to counter certain spells tha' those pesky Vesperians may use against us in tha' forthcomin' WAR!


Runnin' laps around tha' Barracks!

The training incorporated a quick jog around tha' Barracks ter get our blood pumpin'. Then Junior Mori proceeded to explain his knowledge of the arcane arts, referrin' to them as "TRICKS".


Standin' ter attention for a lonng time (or it felt like long at least..!).


As some punishment, Regular Cowin were made ter run laps of the trainin' area whilst singin'. He chose his song, an' I decided ter join in wit' somethin' I be workin' on!

Wit' tha' help o' Regular Cowin, Junior Mori then showed us some o' them effects o' tha' arcane arts an' we watched in horror as ol' Cowin was burned, made sick an' paralysed by magics. With respect to burnin' ol' Regular Cowin, Junior Mori asked us ter close our eyes an' imagine him burnin'. I did this.. an'....

An' when I opened mah eyes. He were indeed burnin'. I think I may be.. somethin'..
Nay, t'is silly. I MIGHT BE A GOD.
Just sayin'.. ba' I'll keep tha' on the side fer tha' mo.


Junior Mori got ter talkin' about potions. I got potion o' mah own kind.. haw haw.

All an' all, t'was a good sesh. Got ter be mindful o'em casters. Ba' I be glad ter 'avin' Junior Mori on our side. Seems ter know wha' he's doin'.
Also, got talkin' ter Talon. Nice bloke, plus he 'ad some real nice armour on..! Got envious, if I be honest.
