After the events of the failed patrol to kill a golden Ancient Wyrm I decided to lead a training for our latest recruits to give them some much needed advice and guidance to some orders.
I started with basic line-ups explaining how the lineup is formed by standing infront of the Guardsman leading and that if there are more than a certain number of guardsmen then a double line is made. I also explained the importance of being silent in line and raising a hand before speaking.
I then explained forming and where the recruits should stand. Making sure the more abled guardsmen stood to the front and they kept to the sides.
After a few attempts of forming I followed up with a healing exercise where I asked Keitaro to attack the guardsmen and for them to keep each other healed.
When it became clear Miss Martin was doing most of the healing we her magic I asked her to stop and for the recruits to keep her up.
I asked a few questions about who to heal and when. Some pointers were given such as focusing on those still up if a few people had fallen, keeping the Arcanists up and making sure not to run when injured but keep close to the group.
Once I had taught as much as I felt I could possibly teach I dismissed the line up for a much needed drink, or what turned out to be several small mouthfulls that humans call shots.
