Tonight I travelled lands afar in an attempt to woo the natives into enlisting in the Covian army.

No instant nibblers, but I suppose time will tell the tale of the banners I left.

Serj and I took to creating some new recruitment material, Corporal. I hope it proves useful.

I remember..

I remember.. when we fought the Kaldorians in the Trinsic Jungle. Many good soldiers were lost there.
I remember.. storming the Bank of Yew, guised as a mercenary outfit. We fought well that day.
I remember.. standing before a horde of Orc. Their hatred for us was absolute, but Cove prevailed.

We are given so little time. The Avatar does not let us rest until the end.
And when that end comes, we shall be questioned.
What did we do? What did I do?
My answer will be simple. It will be simple..
It will be plain. And it will be necessary.
My answer..?

I served Cove.

Service unto death.
Service amongst friends.
Service unto the day the very land of Britannia diminishes, and fades from existence.

We walk amongst the stories of our land.
Each of us with a path. Each of us with a choice.
And so I ask..

The Captain and Corporal's Recruitment journey continues. We took the men to New Haven for a grand sentry at the mint. We had a song from Captain Morana, as he has already reported. The sentry was a proper one: Three tiers high!

We talked to the locals, and although we only got one nipper, we thoroughly expressed the culture of the Covian Army and what it is to be a Covian guardsman.

After the other guardsmen departed to attend a training session, myself and Captain Morana continued with our mission, laying banners in many other locations where rumour has it that potential travellers are rife.

We also ventured east of Haven proper, as the graveyard there often contains many a potential swordsman or macer attempting to cull the skeletons that dwell there. We laid a big banner.

After all the excitement - and Morana's proposal for me to be his best man at his wedding - we went back to the Goblin for a few celebratory whiskeys. It would be rude not to.
