Name: Hoagie Grayner
Age: Somewhere between middle age and decrepitude
Hoagie Grayner was born in a poor area of Britain to parents of no account. He passed his childhood and teens scraping by on odd jobs until one day, sick of living a live of near poverty in a crowded and dirty city, he made his way to Cove, clutching a recruitment power that promised fame, glory and gold.
Over the many years since that day, his hair has gone from flowing and black to totally absent. His neatly trimmed vandyke is now a larger, but still relatively well maintained beard.
His body is marked, branded and scarred. Some are reminders of great losses, some the mementos of old glories. His frame shows the signs of too much time spent behind a desk, but the way he carries himself demonstrates that he’s still more than strong enough to fulfil his duties.
Fiercely loyal to Cove, he now serves as the army’s Commander, ready to unquestioningly impose the Baron’s will and defend Cove’s interests at home and abroad.
