Missing Persons Report

As we now have two Covians missing from our fine town I thought it prudent to open up a formal investigation into the matter. My understanding is that Regular Scout Martin-Melior is going to progress this on Thursday so I make the following summary in good faith.

MISSING PERSONS
Hoagie Grayer, Commander - Identified as missing as of Friday 09/11/18
Khaelieth, Burger (Citizenry) - Missing as of Wednesday 14/11/18

Khaelieth being ‘arrested’ at his residence.

We ventured to Stonekeep to enquire about the whereabouts of Citizen Khaelieth (with the title of Burgher on Baronship records) and Commander Hoagie Grayner. Following our encounter with supposed Yewish forces on Wednesday at Khaelieth’s residence in Altmere, it was confirmed by Captain Radek Wilkes that the men we described were not on the Guardsmen Militia roster - neither as Guardsmen nor Templi. This confirmed our suspicions that the Yewish force was in fact a group of imposters. To further strengthen this conclusion, the Templi we sighted wore black cloaks. It was made clear that Templi of the Yewish chapter wear red cloaks. Captain Wilkes suggested that we perhaps drift our gaze toward Vesper to discover the fate of Khaelieth.
With respect to Commander Grayner, the tale we recounted to the good Captain returned our attention to the young woman we met whilst patrolling Altmere on Friday the Ninth of this November. She had supposedly witnessed the Commander being led away by Yewish guardsmen under duress. We found this report laughable. The Yew Militia are our allies and they would never commit such actions against Cove. Again, this witnessing was refuted by the Captain. And so, we are left wondering who this woman is and where we can find her. She was local to Altmere, and a Healer allegedly.

Investigation Objectives
* In pursuit of Khaelieth, we must focus our attention to Vesper. Perhaps opening up a dialogue with the Vesper military and also the regulars at Swaggers Inn. Particular enquiries should be made with respect to the acquisition of Templi uniforms.
* In pursuit of Commander Grayner, some information may be gained from Vesper. But we would be wise to bring the wandering healer happened upon in for questioning.
* General patrolling of Altmere, and a search of Khaelieth’s residence, may produce some leads.
