*Marie clears a table of of gnawed chicken bones and dirty cups. Sits down, and unroll a peace of cheap parchment. After a long sip of a cup of heated ale, she sharpens a quill and starts to write in a unsteady writing.*
Roit Sir Eason. Report of the the job..
*Marie stares at the paper, curses, and rip of the upper part of the parchment. Then she write again.*
To Sir Eason.
Repport on the Templar keep, that yeh ordered me to investigate.
As yeh ordered me to, I went to the keep, that eh. *shuffles in a small book* Knights Hospitallers have build at the Vesper and Britian crossroad. I had removed meh skirt and sash, and dressed in a poor womens cloth. The weather were horrible, so I wrapped a cloth around meh head, so it covered meh face too. That would nay seem too suspicious, when one think of the weather. I took the road with nay problems, as it were deserted. They have build a palisade all the way round the keep, restricting the movement to the roads.. From outside the..
*Marie takes another sip, and then rummages through the chicken; finds a leg that have only been half eaten, and start to gnaw of it, leaving numerous grease stains on the parchment in the process.*
From outside the keep is very big, as big as our barrack, but if I may say so, it seem that of better quality, with stronger walls and really nice widows in beautiful colours, glowing like. eh. Juwles in the night. Aye. Well. I meet a man outside, clad in the nicest armour I have seen for a long time. His name were *shuffles in the book* were Locke Greywolfe, First Knight. I gave him meh story, that he did nay questioned and he took meh inside, asking little of meh. I heated meh cold hands at the fire, and were able to take a good look around.
Yeh go roit from the outside into a big room. There is nay a long staircase like that in our barracks, that make it easy to defend. The frontdoor is of iron and heavily build though, and the windows to small to crawl through. The strange thing were, that I could nay see any staircase, but I suspect there must be hidden doors somewhere.
As the Knight were with meh all the time, I could nay examine the walls closely. I ...!
*Hrothgar walks up behind Marie and cheerfully claps in her bottom, resulting in the ink being smeared over the parchment. After some exchange of insults, Marie continue on.*
After I had been there a short while, a finely dressed man knocked on the door and were invited inside. He and the Knight exchanged news. From this talk I learned that the Knight had killed a 'skeleton man', and spread its bones. I guess it is the same that roam Cove. One can only hope its finally gone. I also learned that the Knight claimed themselves loyalists. Even if they lie close to Vesper, they anticipated nay problems from them. Roit. At this point I were dry, and feared the Knight may ask meh out, so I took my leave and returned to Cove.
Marie Le Blanc, Watchman
*Marie closes the parchment, and walks toward Easons office. While passing Ryan sitting at a table, she plant the quill in his hair.*
