Getting the Flute"Bloodi' Imps !"Upon becoming the Apprentice of Calico Kate, she set him his first task of
fetching a flute from an old hag in the woods near Yew, a simple task? so
it would sound...
Owen searched all over the Yewland, even asked our allies in stonekeep
if they had seen any ruins and they sent him off fown the southern road.
He walked for what seemed like hours, still no sign of these ruins, until he
heard a strange noise, a loud screeching laugh coming from the woodland,
so naturally Owen went to investigate.
It turned out it was some old ruins with the old hag waiting there, apparently
she had been expecting his arrival and she said to get his flute, he needs to
find her apprentice on the road, not a difficult task so he set off up the road in
search of this fellow.
Owen finds the lost apprenticeAfter spotting what the fiendish imp had done,
and checking the corpse for gold Owen headed off back to the old hag.
She was shocked at his findings, but all Owen could think about was the Flute,
"Before i give you the flute, i have some other tasks for you to do, gwe heheheh!" said the crazy old hag, so Owen took things into his own hands.
Owen tries his own diplomacyAfter the old hag taught him it would be in his best interest to help her, he was off !
his task to find an imp that should give him the location of the imp that had stolen the
writings from the apprentice's corpse.
Owen popped his head through the moongate at Justice shrine in Ilshenar, and after
slaying a few imps one surrendered and handed him map with the location of his hiding
place and the magical flute, victory! Owen had his flute.
Owen head back to the old hags ruins and handed her the map,
"Oh, but you must help
me in the remainder of this quest!" said the old hag, to which Owen replied...
Owen tells her how it isThe Mission a success, Owen returned home with his prize flute, another victory for Cove !
