Last eve, Junior Guardsman Vince Valentine led Watchman Olchafa Serpernt, Guardsman Recruit Fabien, and myself, on a short and successful hunt. The location we had decided should be Covetous; as there are many ‘harpies’, we were able to gather feathers to supply archers within the Baronship. It was a rough battle, but as we fought through the mountain pass, dodged flame-spouting pits and defeated many harpies, gazers and headless beasts, not once did we falter.
Not only did we gather feathers, but plenty of Crowns in addition! – The total came to 4,800 Crowns, though Junior Valentine split the loot between ourselves: 1,000 each; however, I decided to contribute my share to the Baronship coffers.
