Church Rewards

Pious Flare:
Mages only

Slaying at least 40 orcs and turning the gold in to the church, complete with burning the orc bodies, with a conflagration potion or such. All the accumulated gold must be donated as a tithe to the church.

Reward: For mages, a normal spellbook with the inscription "Pious flare".

Searching wanderer:

Walking to one of the shrines, with the exception of the shrine of compassion, taking screenshots, including one with the character uttering the mantra in front of the shrine's ankh.

Reward: Character is able to add "Avatarian Pilgrim" to his or her profile, as well as getting a mentioning at the following mass. The person will be added to the "Book of Pilgrims", which will be kept in the front of the church.

Church benefactor:
Citizenry only

Mining enough ore to create 200 gold ingots, taking screenshots of the process, then turning it in in a wooden box.

Reward: As it is only citizens who are eligible for this task, the reward will be one church punishment immunity, protecting the character from one church-ordered punishment.

As long as the character has not used up his or her immunity, he or she may have the textline "Church immunities: 1 (depending on the amount of immunities, maximum number of allowed immunities will be three. For each immunity in game the person will receive a book which states that he or she is immune, etc..).

Avatar's Guard
Militia non-mages only

Equip a militia-standard halberd, and stand guard at the church gates for at least 15 minutes, as well as turning in a report of it in the in-character boards.

Reward

Receiving a mentioning at the following mass for his or her piety, as well as being allowed to add "Avatar's Guard" under the "Reward, Orders and Medals" part of their paperdoll.

 A section will be added under the "Medals and honours" section of the forum, in order to keep track of all rewards granted by the church, at a later date.
