Mass at the Church, Sunday 23rd OctoberThis report has been submitted on the order of Father Odenetheus, Church Steward.
On the 23rd of October a citizen and myself turned up at Church at the usual time only to find it deserted and damaged. Rumours soon appeared that the Lord Preceptor, Hugo, had been slain.
Fortunately the wave of despair that threatened to overcome the Faithful was soon dispelled by Father Odenetheus who some hours later held a small Mass.
There is a little of note to report other than the penance Watchman Hoagie was ordered to undertake after confessing to a long and vile list of sins that I shall not repeat. He was ordered to fight a balron near the Chaos shrine in Ilshenar. Several of us accompanied him, including Junior Guardsman Raiden Morana, Citizen Khaelith and the deserter John Dell. We made our way to Ilshenar and briefly engaged the beast. Sadly we were too few in number and fell repeatedly to the beast. This was undoubtably due to the Avatar showing his disgust at Hoagie's vile sins and our Weakness in not burning him at the stake.
We regrouped and returned to Cove.
