A Grand Test: The Baronship Tournament!

Hosted in the town of Cove itself!

As a part of my "Baron's Loyalty" trial set to me by Eason, I will be hosting a grand tournament in Cove. And this tournament is not only for Covians! We encourage our allies to participate! This tournament will consist of not only one, nor two, but even three different contests each with their respective Champions:

1. A standard melee/archers duel. this one will be pretty straightforward, and the rules look very similiar to the armsmaster tournament rules. They are in fact the same rules, albeit with one exception, to the rules made by Dragoon Corporal Joey Lanai. The winner be announced as the Armsmaster of the North.

Rules and Questions and Answers

What is the Northern Tournament?

Its a chance to prove your worth among the free people of the North, each man or woman is up with a suit of armour and a weapon of their choice and use this to compete in what may be a one-time event!

When is the Northern Tournament held?

The Tournament will take place on a Sunday the 19th February. If this turns out to be a success we might agree to host it again.

How does it work?

As i said, each participant will be given a suit of armour and weapon and their names entered and then they will be drawn out of a hat on the day and pitted against eachother in armed combat. The winner advances into the next round, and the tournament is a sort of knock out contest.

Who can take part?

Any free citizen of the North can take part in the Tournament, thats right, not just the regular army!

Wow ! So what do I win?

You win the respect of all your free comrades of the North and your name will be noted down and named as Champion of the Northern Forces.

Quote
Mage Duel:

2. No protection spell.
3. During the summoning contest you will be allowed to augment your summons, but not to heal them.
4. Summoning very dangerous creatures such as Demons, Enery Vortexes and Blade Spirits will get you banned from the event.

3. A Boxing match, to be hosted in a special arena and with special equipment. For those who can't wield the sword but certainly can knock ye out with their hard fists! All the kit will be supplied.

Quote
Boxing Rules:

Rules:
1. Anyone can compete but any professionals will be given priority.
2. You will all be supplied a full boxing kit (Gloves, a protective helmet and short pants)
3. Each match will consist of three rounds each of 45 seconds.
4. A judge will be annoucing each winner and will also make sure that the combattant keep the fighting civil.
5. Prohibited fighting moves:
  • No kicking.
  • No eye-gauging.
  • No headbutting.
  • No wrestling, any grab that is held for more than five seconds will earn you a warning
  • Any break of the above rules will earn you a warning and after three warnings during one given match you will be disqualified
  • In short, use nothing but your fists against your opponent.

Again I undeline that this will not be a covian tournament, but a Northern alliance tournament! So this will be a good time to meet our esteemed allies for friendly games and contests!

Enjoy yourselves and may the best man or woman win!

Sadly, I think this tournament all failed because IRL issues made me leave just a bit into it. Nothing I could do anything with.... Angry
