Salidin is a 25 year old man from a small village in the kitsune woods.
His Mother was a Herbalist refugee from delucia and his father was a samurai and the village leader.
At the age of one Salidin was moved to live with his grandfather in a small town on the outskirts of delucia as his father was worried he would be a target for his rivals within the near by villages.
Salidin was raised by his Grandfather chipper a baker and prominent figure in the community he learnt to cook and work in his grandfather shop .At the age of 12 word came from his father village that his mother had been killed by assains and his father had found her and committed sepuku at her side and so he was orphaned
Salidin contuied to live and work for his grandfather until he was eighteen.
A week after his 18 birthday he decides to leave his town and find his path in life. He left his grandfather with a stack of cash a backpack of food and some cooking utensils and went out to seek his fortune.
The next few years Salidin got into lots of trouble wasting his money on women and ale and getting into many fights which eventually got him put into jail it was there he heard about the Cove Army and decide that was where he wanted to be as soon as he was release after a year long sentence of hard labour he travelled to cove and joined the army to seek honour and hope in his life again
