Quote
Grand Zento Tournament! (Tuesday 1st March)
"...Upon the final day of the month, the High Council wisely concluded that in order to settle the disputes between those who claim themselves above others; would be to match their skills within an arena. And so the Daimyo declared that his village be open to all those who wish to participate in the tournament. Honour, glory, fame and riches would be bestowed upon those who truelly deserve." - An extract from the tome of Kotodama lore

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Town of Zento, upon the 1st of March, will be open to all those who wish to compete in the 'Great Zento Tournament' in the name of his Lordship, Honzu Kotoawa.

Over the next few weeks, villagers and promoters of the Tournament will be passing out leaflets and pinning advertisements to buildings and trees, so that all will be aware of it's coming. Members of any clan, guild and family are welcomed to participate, however, the event will be watched over by the Kotodama's military and those who create trouble will be dealt with sternly.

Those who wish to participate, may do so by simply arriving at the Zento where they will be taken to the arena. Those who wish to spectate, may do so as well by simply arriving and taking a seat.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other:

- Please ask GM permission before entery for your guild leaders may not wish for you to attend. "Evil" races (e.g. drow, orcs etc) are asked politely not to attend this event unless heavily disguised or as an alternate character, then they may spectate.

- Teams do not necessarily have to be of the same guild.

- Those who win each Tournament will be basked in fame and glory across Zento! (Perhaps even the world!)

- This is not just a PvP event; this is a golden oppotunity for gambiling and the purchasing and selling of goods. Bring your imaginations with you *Grins*

- Magery will not be prohibited throughout all tournaments

- Even if you can't use daisho feel free to compete, they'd make a good trophy *Grins*

- Could everyone who wants to compete please contact myself (242-297-197) before hand so i have an idea of the teams and whos competeing in the single duels. (It isnt essential, telling me before the fights actually start you can also compete, it would just help me a lot)

- Any guilds not at war with us who wish to compete kindly contact Akira Toruna (172-295-150)

Needed:

- An individual to help run the event with Akarai (may also compete).

- Individuals to run a 'refreshment' stand in which food and drink is sold.

- Individuals to run a 'goods' stand in which weapons, armour, bandages and potions are sold.

- Individuals to run a 'gambling' stand.

Please contact Akarai if you have any questions, wish to assist or create stands/stalls for the event. (242-297-197)

Pretty much covers it for everyone in Cove!
So feel free to create teams of three and post them below!
