Guardsmen attending

Vince Valentine                 Senior Grenadier (Leading)
Minamota Osaka              Guardsman Recruit
Eiric Walderon                  Guardsman Recruit
Scorn Bloodthorn              Guardsman Recruit
Owen                                Watchman
Kelly                                  Junior Guardsman  (Left briefly and then returned)
Thomas Sendrich               Regular Dragoon
Hoagie                               Junior Dragoon      (Left just before the team battles)
Olchafa Serpernt               Officer Cadet, Scouts division

I started the guardsmen off, as any training should, with a good old kit inspection!
I think everyone was pleased about this, as they uttered groans of delight as i told them. First off was bandages, which everyone had plentiful supplies of. Good job too, as a bandage is a guardsmans best friend, i'm sure you'll agree.
After that though, is a different story altogether. When asked to present bedrolls, only two of the guardsmen had them! *Gasps*

Good show Kelly and Hoagie, you'll not be caught sleeping on the cold hard ground like the rest eh? One guardsman even said he prefered the ground! Avatar knows why, the mind boggles.....
Anywho, when it came to light sources, every guardsman had one.
There's no cave too dark, nor corridor too dim for these folk! Heck no!

With the much loved kit inspection out of the way, we moved on to how to address your fellow guardsmen. Thomas got a little carried away when it came to addressing the baron, bless him

Next up, i decided to see how the men Roared in battle. For a good battlecry can take down even the most fearsome of enemies!
I set up some training dummies, yet they lacked that certan something, so i dressed them up as yewmen to really get the guardsmen ready to roar!
And Roar they did, smashing the dratted yewmen/dummies into small pieces!

Satisfied that they'd instill fear into even the most hardy of foes, we moved on to a little game i made up, whereby i yelled the name of a foe, and they yelled back if they'd form! or charge!

Last, but not least was the team battle part of the training, where we we're split into teams of two.

These are how the teams went, and the results
Team one                            Team Two
Min                                       Scorn
Owen                                   Vince
Chaffers                               Eiric

Battles won: 2                      Battles won: 0

The training complete, we then went on as tradition demands, and held a 'last man standing' contest, in which Recruit Max joined us with.
Unfortunatly, i had to take my leave just before it ended. As i left, Max and Owen were still duking it out. Perhaps they're still going, who knows?

All in all, a grand show by all guardsmen attending, and apoligies for not being able to go through all of the stuff i had planned.
So, in conclusion, these well honed, lean, mean, Covian guardsmen are ready for action anytime, anywhere! Damn right! *Nods firmly*
