Sat in his office Hrothgar quietly read through some reports from the Minoc Campaign. Briefly he sighed and pushed the papers aside eyeing out the window of his quarters.

The cove harbor was in his view through the window, a few sailors were packing up crates and moving into town.

Hrothgar made his way through the office and out the barracks headed for the docks.



It was a quiet evening, not a citizen around. The ocean waves were strong banging the ships against the wooden dock.

The old corporal stood silently watching the sea when a cold shiver ran down his spine, a shadow emerged from the darkness behind him.

Hrothgars eyes widened "Hrmm, so this is it, eh?"... The shadow stood silently before moving towards Hrothgar piercing his back with a cold blade.

Gasping slightly Hrothgar hit the ground as a puddle of blood formed around him.

The shadow had dissapeared....
