I heard Conans rallying call to the orc fort and by the time i got there Markus had constructed a defensive outpost just outside the orc fort. Conan was leading the expedition and had recruit Exillion with him. Roland and Kal arrived at the same time as i did and Conan explained that I was to take command of raiding parties into the orc fort while he would command the defensive outpost.
We made several forays into the fort until being called back by Conan to drop off our loot. We made short work of the orcs even a brute tried to hide outside the fort walls by the waters edge but Kal lured it to our ambush. A couple of conflag vials tossed by yours truly accounted for other orcs trying to hide outside the walls by the docks.
Alas I had duties to attend to elsewhere so i lined my raiding party up by our outpost to count the loot and praise them for there efforts when the outpost was ambushed by a horde of orcs and brute after brute.
We formed up and drove the hordes back slaying there brutish cousins as we went. I counted four or five brutes downed by the time i had to depart and we must have collected somewhere in the region of 12,000 gold coins.
I think Conan and the others were going to stick around a while to see if any more attacks would follow so if there is more to report from the excellent expedition and it below.
All in all a fine adventure and we showed 'em orcs good!
