Rai went into the Shrine. He went through the history of the Bujin Kai. Apparently there was this clan of women known as the Amazons. They had a strange custom where people from all of their region would come together to see who was the best. This included their enemies. It was strange system. It was held every four years and it had religious implications too. Everybody would be given free rights of passage and no blood would be shed. This was a thing of honour. That is the ultimate test. To honour your enemy is the ultimate test. He began to write letters and called a few Ashigarus to place it all over the lands. It would be a good test of their abilities. It did not matter whether they were taken prisoner or were killed by their enemies or by the various monsters of the land. Those who survived had potential and would probably be more noticed. The others did not matter. Tournament Rules 1) Each Guild can send upto 4 people to take part in the event. Each participant must clearly state who they represent. THose who do not will not be allowed to participate.
2) Only the participants will be allowed to carry weapons.
3) No form of Magic including Necromancy is allowed.
4) Chivalry Bushido and Ninjutsu are concerned warrior techniques and will be allowed. This is limited to what is restricted by CoRE. Animal form and mirror image may not be used.
5) No potions are allowed.
6) Honouring the enemy using the UO virtue is not allowed.
7) No poisoning, disarming, hiding or any hiding related special move is allowed.
8 ) Weapons upto Bronze may be used if iyou are permitted by your guild.
9) The armour is what you are allowed to by your guild.
Tournament Format The initial fights will be decided by roll of dice. The winner will progress to the next round. The final match will be a best of three.
OOC Notes: I do not expect everything to be lovey dovey. However in spirit of the concept I would not like any fights to break out.
As far as the Ettiquette goes Everyone must remove their footwear before entering the building.
There will be three commands Rei: Both the contestants must bow to each other. Kamae: Go into war mode. Hajime: Attack.
