Searching for Kormek and his Gem.

Objective: Find Kormek or retrieve the gem - Failed

After returning from a patrol  I lined up the men and explained what we were doing. Veldrin and I were set a task by Hugo for scrapping in the church and that task was to retrieve a gem from a man named Kormek. After a bit of research between me and Veldrin we found out that Kormek is a well known thief and his last location was the Britian Brigand Fort around where Henry Winter used to dwell.

After Veldrin gated us in I lined them up outside the fort and ordered a sound off. It was sloppy and barely anyone actually bothered to call their name out, nevertheless we pushed forward and entered the fort in search for Kormek or the gem.

On entering the fort we stopped to ask some of them if they had seen Kormek or the gem however without hesitation the brigands picked up their weapons and charged at us! So eventually we decided it was best to try searching through the tents.

Inside the tents were loads of boxes calling the order the men started to check all the boxes, however there was nothing. Reaching our third tent I decided to give it a go and on opening the box a small explosion went off making me stagger back! I decided I didn't want to risk my life anymore for an empty box so wiping the soot off my face I pushed Tiberius forward who was lucky enough not to encounter a trapped chest.

After realising the Gem wasn't in there we head down the road to check the old guardout post, even though it is on the boarders of loyalist territory. The outpost seemed alright on the outside though when we got on we saw a thief rummaging through a large chest!

After having the boys surround the thief we found out he wasn't Kormek but in fact a man name Ira Sanguistat who wouldn't share any information with us until...

Once he got the idea he began to spill some information, he claimed that the gem we are seeking is some legend piffle called The Gem of Pyros though I'll look up on it later, most likely a load of gobble to try get away. After more persuasion from Tiberius he soon spilled that he saw a load of people looking the same running from the trade post, all holding a small red ruby. Again after some 'talking' too with Tiberius he shared that the man may have been Kormek and he ran to Skara brae.. or one of the men.

Mr.Sanguistat best be telling the truth otherwise he knows what will happen! Some research on The Gem of Pyros will be done.
