It was my turn to lead the Grenadier training this week but time was short as the tavern night was due to start soon, so i ordered a forced march to the Altmere outpost as the new Grenadier HQ lies not far from there.
From there Gimbly led us to the plot of land he owns on which with the help of Junior Guardsman Eve and some commoners he had designed, built and furnished a Head Quarters fit for the Grenadiers.
A HQ fit for Grenadiers and the baron himself!Gimbly led us from room to room pointing out items of interest. A stable, store and forge where the latest minister of transport can be housed, fed and watered. A parade ground for er... parades and training was next on the tour.
We were next led to the Halls/War room where the Sarge and I tested the chairs for Grenadier comfiness. Gimb' also pointed some chests for storage etc.
Next stop on the tour was the watchtower which offers magnificent views of the surrounding area... oh and it is also a fine vantage point for archers and of course grenade throwers.
*winks*Finally Gimbly showed us to the Grenadier sleeping quarters and common room complete with bar, tables, chairs and games where us bronze heroes can rest and unwind.

Rest assured the Grenadiers will put their new HQ to good use.
