Led by:
Kelly Sanderson, Regular Scout.

Guardsmen in Attendance:
Caedmon (Guardsman Recruit)
Hoagie (Dragoon Sergeant)
Flina Trix (Junior Dragoon)
John Dell (Junior Guardsman), came late.
Jack Sinist (Regular Guardsman), left early.
Dalamar (Regular Scout)
Nicholi (Regular Dragoon)
A man with a cloak, name unknown.

Where: The vegetable patch that leads up to the Watch Tower in Cove town.
Topic: Food and fitness.

We began with the two tables. One had pie, pizza and ale upon it, wheras the other had fruit and milk. I did not have them form a line for this training session, as it was not a very strict training session. I asked all the guardsmen which table they would go for. Hoagie went right for the pie, and so did Nich. Flina stated that it'd depend what mood she was in. Dalamar said the fruit and milk, and so did Sinist. We then spoke about how important stretching before battle is, and how you should always carry a hipflask of water with you. To prove this point further for the slow ones, I made them all run three laps from where we stood up to the watch tower and back again. I think we established that after exercising a little, you need to drink. And not particularly ale, either.

I don't know where this came from, but I ended up doing some sort of 'exercise' that involved the smashing of water melons. The rules were that they could not use a weapon to smash the melon, and they could not use the same method as the person before them. Some of the ways they did this are shown above. Hoagie's method was definately the best, as he got John Dell to lean backwards onto the melon, in promise that he would give him an ale. Dell was oblivious. This is the oddest thing I have had some guardsmen do in a training, and I cleaned up the mess. To finish off, we had a free-for-all wrestle in the middle of the vegetable patch. Me and Dell proved to be rather bad at this, but the recruit was exceedingly good (For a recruit!). He could throw a punch better than I ever could! Anyway, Hoagie won the wrestling match, as it finished between him and Flina.

John Dell:
My ultimate aim is to nag someone to the brink of total blindness and hate that they kill me.

John Dell:
It's for me like for you and pies; if one is staring you in the face you just can't leave it alone.
