We gathered in the Cove docks hoping that anyone of the fine Covian Navy will appear, but seems that they have more important matters than cruising around with civilians aboard. Luckily for us, Krel Varone - captain of The Raconteur - agreed to take us to the destination of our trip: The Verity Isle.
The sail was very nice. Weather was wonderful, wind calm, sights incredible. Although I'm feeling a bit anxious aboard, I really enjoyed it. Captain Varone proved his agility with steering his ship and we were landing in the Isle in no-time.
Just after landing ma'am Leontine asked why didn't we use a moongate, so I gave her an exact answer.
Ma'am Leontine prepared the camp, and all of us began the planned work.
I - obviously - chopped wood, mister Varone gathered some hay and top-quality cotton, and ma'am Leontine - assisted by our hired sailor - gathered some reagents for her use and did some business unknown to me in the Moonglow City.
But the most important thing was, that during our trip a very uncommon kind of a bond began to appear between Ileana and Krel... They discussed about treating of animals, their work, intelligence and such...
After few whiles we were ready to go home. We packed the packhorses aboard, and sailed away. Unfortunatelly, we had to take the sail home by night, frightened a bit knowing what kind of creatures inhabits the seas and are active during the night. We hadn't to wait too long for one of them. Suddenly, the wind stopped, and from underneath the water, a huge, fearsome head of a sea beast appeared. It was a giant, black Sea Serpent!
We managed to kill the beast, but Krel was still unsure why we stopped.
The reat of the journey was safe, and we reached my beloved Cove right before dusk.
Another successful event by the civilians of Cove!
