Setting down her mug of cold tea Mela shuffled through the papers until she came to one which caught her eye. 'Ah, Faden needs his trials does he?'  she paused and read over his file 'Well he seems like a competent lad. Don't know him very well but I definitely think he is deserving of his trials.' she swirled the tea in her mug thoughtfully a moment before forcing the last drop down her throat. 'But is he deserving and even worthy of the great Covian cap?' she grinned to herself and began writing using her finest quill.

Proving your leadership
As a junior you will be expected to regularly lead the men on hunts, sentries & patrols so you will need to prove your leadership abilities. Below is a short list of monsters which I think we as an army have neglected you are to travel to their homes and kill them.

Monsters to kill:

• Ice Fiend
• Serpentine Dragon
• Ancient Lich

Conditions:

• At least 5 guardsmen must attend these hunts
• An Officer must attend the hunts to take note of your leadership
• Must collect at least 25000 gold on each hunt
• Remember to be creative on your hunt, make it fun for everyone
• A report with a full list of attendees & paintings must be pinned below

Reel em in
I hate to say it Faden but numbers are low and we are in desperate need of recruits to fill your old boots (I'm a poet and I know it - Hoh!). This task will be a lot easier than your last one, however it needs to be done.

Task:
Lead two cross shard recruitment parades. Also place at least 15 banners on Europa.

Conditions:

• At each parade you must have at least 4 people
• When placing the banners on Europa, the same rules still apply.
• You may only place up to two banners in each town and only one at each moongate
• One of the banner placing sessions must include a stall.

Apple for the teacher
It can't always be fun and games I'm afraid Faden and there is more to the army than exercise and weapon training. They need to be taught the theory work, of how a weapon works, why we eat purple petals and why we wear certain armour.

Task:
I want you to do a class about whatever army related subjects you want, don't go easy on the other guardsmen.

Conditions:

• At least 4 people must attend this event.
• The class must go on for at the veryhalf an hour
• A member of Command must be present at your class
• A five minutes break in the middle of the class must be done. Include a wide variety of refreshments.
• Keep the class fun for everyone, try be creative.
• Pin a report below.

Mission: Kill a Ice Fiend and gather twenty five thousand gold

Leading:

• Faden Wildheart, Watchman

Attending:

• Raiden Morana, Grenadier Sergeant
• Kal ShadowHand, Regular Guardsman Church Servant
• Kas Valentine, Regular Guardsman
• Hoagie, Dragoon Sergeant
• Mela Arkay, Scout Sergeant
• James Covium, Watchman

The group of hardened Covians left the barracks through a portal provided by Kas Valentine. The guardsmen received their mission brief.



Adventuring deep into the dungeon, the group began slaying ice creatures of many kinds including serpents, elementals and foul smelling trolls.

The guardsmen eventually found themselves entering the home of the Ice Fiends, they were little challenge to the experianced group as they fell to the ground dead.



Around a total of six fiends fell before the group discovered what appeared to be a necromancy library. The room was soon set alight and the guardsmen ran for their safety.



Upon leaving the dungeon the guardsmen stummbled on a tunnel leading to a heavily fortified fortress containing a vast number of ratmen soliders. The Guardsmen strongly charged the fortress.



These rat soliders swarmed the mighty Covian Guardsmen but fell wave after wave, these were no match.


After clearing this dungeon of nearly all its inhabitants the Guardsmen left.
Kas Valentine created a portal to send us home, however with his great magical skills we where teleported into Ice Dungeon again... we could have been killed, Avatar only knows where we could have gone! Anyway, the error was corrected and we were teleported home, and the gold was counted.



Conclusion:

• Killed six Ice Fiends
• Hunted and disposed of all inhabitants in the Ice Fiend Lair
• Eradicated the Rat Fort
• Gathered thirty five thousand coins for the Baronship

I will have you know I was once known as a Regular Scout, Now I beh the Church Servant. Get yer Ranks right Watchman.

But a well lead hunt all the same, and a well written report as well.
