Is it acceptable to wear a fur cape or cloak outdoors while there is snow on the ground in-game?

The army usually places an order with Cove's tailors coming up to Christmas time for cloaks/fur capes to keep the guards warm as we RP the seasons.

But as a rule winter clothing isn't worn in say ice dungeon or other snowy climes... Then again Raiden IS a big 'ard Grenadier

Was last year the first time they added snow to the landscape? I wasn't around the year before that.

Yes, we all changed house grass tiles to snow, when they whitened out whole landscape

(Which is a major spoil, because the winter lasting approx. 3 RL months makes Sosaria enter a small "ice age" for over 15 game months [23rd Dec 2007 - 21st Mar 2008 = 67th 8 365 - 52th 11 366])
