Report:
Raiden had heard some reports that some travellers had gone missing around Wrong and it was up to us to explore the darkness and discover the truths that lie within.
We prepared ourselves and entered the darkness unsure of what to expect and quickly we destroyed the creatures that lied within. The cave was full of lizardmen, trolls and orge's, foes we have trained against for a long time so naturally of little worry to the might of cove.
After searching several areas we finally came across a room with several bodies hanging from the walls attached to what appeared to be a chain. The sight was awful but it drove us on to try and find out who were responsible for the deaths.
We pressed on, dodging past the mass of traps and creatures that seemed to have only one goal, to stop us investigating. We came across some strange mages who quickly felt the wrath of Cove. We then bumped into Sergeant Hoagie and some recruit later identified as Shotts, they had heard our task and decided to join.
Together we pressed on and after clearing one floor, the captain decided we should pass through some shiny object. It teleported us through to another section of rooms and we were quick to enter and destroy the many mages and axe wielding humans that lived there. We came across many more bodies hanging on the walls and devices of torture. At one point Raiden had seen enough and he decided to burn as much as he could, hopefully making sure these torture devices could not be used again
The last room we entered was full of Brigands, it must of been these who had been instructing the torture and as they attacked, we easily matched their might and killed the waves they came in. Eventually we deemed enough death had been dealt and we headed for the exit.
We all escaped alive and well, which is unfortunately not the same state in which the travellers had been in. We could not save them but we did hopefully prevent any similar things from taking place here in the near future.
