As the guardsmen lined up at the barracks I explained the mission. We we're going to the underground orc fortress in search of orcish mages who we would kill along with anything else that stood in our way. Estel has lived in fear too long and the orc curse needed to br broken.

Our mission explained with Sir Nicholas Bashford looking on.

When we arrived at the orc cave I reminded everyone that the orc mages were our main targets and then we ventured inside. We made our way deeper and deeper working well to bring down our foes, but still no orcish mages faced us.

The slaying of the orc mages.

Eventually we found their lair and slaughtered them. The greenskin shamen were ruthlessly cut down and their vile hiding place sacked. We continued further and further into the underground fortress looking for more orc magic users but none were found.

The rescue party heads out.

Just as we were retracing our steps back to the entrance we received word of a recruit cut off in Covetous, so once we were back outside in the forest i asked our own magic user to open up a portal and off we went to rescue the recruit.

JT - Jon Trent, Junior Guardsman.
