Event: Combat Training
Report:
Today we had combat training conducted by our fearless leader, Grenadier Captain Raiden Morana. He gave a long seminar on the art of war, and asked questions to ensure that we understood the value of proper targeting, commands, ability usage, and healing. He gave insight to our enemies and praise when we did well. He showed us how to be better at what we do!
Grenadier Captain Raiden Morana and Sergeant Hoagie formed the defending team, while Junior Grenadier Marcus Tel’var, Junior Guardsman Edmund Rufus, and myself (the only archer) formed the attacking team. I must say, with my bowmenship and the powerful arm of a Grenadier, Sgt Hoagie went down fast, but we lost one of are own in the first round. A review was done and teams changed, the Grenadier’s Vs the Regulars! The fight went long and hard, glad the Grenadiers are on our side! We finally took Junior Grenadier Marcus Tel’var out, leaving just Grenadier Captain Raiden Morana, a three to one advantage. Training was stopped to review what we had done. Then Grenadier Captain Raiden Morana said it was time for a last man standing event! I was the last of the regulars to drop, upon which the Grenadiers stopped and praised themselves for such fine work. This ended the days training.
