* Copy sent to command and the Church *
When:  07/12/08, 20:00 GMT

Location:  City of Britain.

Commanding Officer:  Takeamada, Junior Guardsman

Guardsman in attendance:

-   Salvius, Citizen of Cove

Report:

While checking out the death of the council of Britannia, I was on my way out of the castle when approached by a male figure in a brown hooded robe carrying a book!  He hail me and I listened to him tell me his tale of how he was treated at the market that evening.  I was at the market and did not remember seeing him, but that could be to the fact the market was quite busy and I only shopped at the Covian stand.

As I stood there listening to him, I notice the book he carried was similar to those who practice the arcane arts.  I asked him if he had his brand?  He looked at me puzzled!  I asked what his book was?  He told me a “very old” book!  I asked what the title was of his book?  He went about to telling me about his issues at the market!  I asked him if I could see his book?  He asked which book?  I said the one in your hand!  After a moment of thought, he handed it over to me!  I looked at it and found it contained 64 arcane spells.  I handed the book back and asked him if as a citizen of Cove he knew about the churches order of branding as to not be mistaken for a witch?  He seems confused and did not seem to understand!  So I explained to him the churches order on the use and users of the arcane arts.  Because of his age I told him he had 24 hours to report to the church for banding.  He told me that he had stopped by earlier and no one was there!  I said they are quite busy and he had 24 hours to do what needed to be done or he would be arrested on site and jailed until they decided his out fate.
He stated that he thought I was joking and should arrest him now!   So I did, to his shock!  I placed him custody for failure to comply with church orders and other charges may be added upon investigation.  I told him to come with me!  Which he did, peacefully?  We walked from the center of Brit to the Brit moongate, when then gated to the Minoc moongate and walk to Cove.  Upon arrival at the Covian Barracks, I searched him and locked him in a cell.  I then informed him that I would notify command that he was there!  I sent a pigeon to command and received a reply back from them, they would try to notified the church and get back to me.  I went back to check on the inmate and found him looking out the bars!  I told him that command had been informed of his actions and that they were taking action.
I received another pigeon from command informing me that no one from the church could be contacted and seeing that at this point he has been peaceful with this whole ordeal, that he was to be released and informed the church would contact him to deal with him as they see fit and that he was to present himself upon request for their ruling!  He understood what he was told.  At that point I released him!

Junior Takeamada,

Have no doubt that one is a trouble maker and should be watched. I observed his behaviours in Skara Brae, granted they are our enemies but durring a peacful function all shouldst be on their most best behaviour as a reflection upon Cove. The man was escorted to the moongate and told to leave.
