What to do, what to do?

Well the Grenadier Hall is not getting the usage I thought it would!  So if its not going to be used as the Headquarters for the Covian Grenadiers, what should it be used for?  Or should it be brought down and rebuilt?  I would like to build a facility that’s going to be used more then four time in six months!

Any Ideas?  What are your thoughts Cove?  Should it stay the Headquarters for the Grenadiers, turned into another facility, or should I just turn it into a Private place?

Let me know your thoughts!  Thanks.

Ah, though I can not speak for the Church my good fellow. I wouldst suggest you speak with Father Siegfried! The plot may be useful. I can make no promises except that it would see good use from we Clergy and Templar.

I hope you will consider!

Takeamada,

I shall review the plot size; I seem to recall it was rather large and perfectly positioned for the Preceptory. Unless there are any other suggestions, and the plot size is satisfactory, I will have the Church trade the current Preceptory location for it.

I can understand that it's frustrating to have a plot of that size standing idle, but I don't think changing the use is necessarily the answer. It's been proven previously that Grenadier halls can be active (Gimbly's one was used quite regularly), and I think it should be understood it's people rather than concepts that make buildings work. What the Grenadiers need to do is get back into the regular routine of having one Grenadier training a week held at the hall, and then to supplement that with other Grenadier themed events (perhaps tavern nights where current Grenadiers can tell tales to potential recruits!)

If the church wants it, I suppose it's not too much of a hassle to change plots around. But I don't think converting it to something else will make much difference - I can't see a 2nd outdoor market or a Covian museum being any more active, personally.

Well the night you came back and gave your fire and brimstone speech to us and said you were back for good and things were going to get better and that the Grenadiers were going to get more active!  I thought "wow cool glad we have this place"   I have yet seen anything other than the same o same o!

It can be challenging to get more than a few Grenadiers online at the same time due to timezones and real life constraints, even though the squad probably has as many "active" members as it ever has in the past.

There's also a fine line and a fine balance between hosting squad events and having other members standing around feeling left out, which is a further challenge.

It'd be nice to use the Grenadier HQ more, especially given it's proximity to the frontline/border with the Loyalists and it's something we can look to do for any future Altmere campaign and of course Grenadier and/or Grenadier themed events.

Also don't forget Regular Grenadier's can lead events too. So if you want to see the plot used more you can have a big say in how that is done. If you have any ideas or would like to discuss any events Grenadier Sergeant Valentine and myself will be more than happy to help.

Rent the space! With an option to time share!!! Tongue  Seriously though, prehaps you should step forward and set up some events.  They don't have to be grenadier related even! But as Raiden said its YOUR plot. Yes I know thats so helpful yes?

Indeed, I'd vote to keep it as the grenadier headquarters.

As already stated, real life time constraints do take they're toll on everyones gametime at some point, and Grenadiers are no exception.

Seeing the building used more regularly would be great, and I'm sure we can make this happen with a little effort. The return of the weekly grenadier training would be a perfect start, activity breeds activity as Mister Arkay would say.

That's my opinion anyways bud, we keep it as it is and make Cove Grenadier-tastic once again  Smiley

Keep it and use it for events. Also to be honest, it's hard to keep a building under use. So far only the barracks (thanks to it's masterdesign Anno 2004) has been used all the time.
